Within the dept of space lies a galactic empire, it's up to 10 brave souls with the powers of the mighty animals to defend their planet from the empire

While spelt as Zyuoh the first letter of the core 5 Morirangers’ surnames spells the pronunciation of it being Jyuoh
In addition to representing the motif being animals (獣 Jyu), the "Jū" (十) in the title could also represent the number 10, which is the number of rangers in the sentai team.
It has elements from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger and Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger
Originally Gaku/Mori Black was gonna be orange, but his colour was change to black, but an orange member would be included with Ryuji/Mori Orange
- Similarly enough, Kouichiro/Mori Violet was going be silver, with his colour being changed to violet.
- Due to this, the Moriranger have no members who are coloured gold and silver, however will fight villains Tyranic and Eclipsesa who theme colours are gold and silver.
The wild animal motif was inspired by Kamen Rider Geats, having the animals be animals that weren’t mostly used
- While the Tiger has been used in a lot of Sentai, it is an exception because the author wanted to include a tiger ranger
Exactly like with Zyuohger and Gaoranger, the Red Ranger is the last core member to join the team, however due to lacking a Yellow Ranger in the main 5 team, due to the Yellow Ranger being the 9th member, the role of previous leader who steps down went to the Blue Ranger
The main villain and generals have their designs based on Pokemon
- Due to the Force Of Nature Pokémon Quartet having horns, similar to Gaoranger, the MOTW will have horns but unlike Gaoranger, the number of horns don’t have any importance.
- Following the video game theming for the villains, Usaka-san, Torataro-san and Panbon-san are based on the three antagonists from horror game series Mr Hopp’s Playhouse.
The title of the villains is a combination of Galactic and Gladiators
- The MOTW’s names are the Japanese names of their respective animal combined with the word Cator from Galacticator
- The MOTW chosen by Skywing has the word Nin their names to emphasise their ninja motif
