Overview[]
Astro Megaship[]
The Astro Megaship was a vast spaceship made up of six decks with at least sixteen rooms to live in, machines designed to create food out of nothing called Cynthitrons, a hangar full of gadgets and containing the Megatank, and its own sentient AI named D.E.C.A. who was only ever heard via speaks and seen as red periscopes. Aside from the shuttle hangar, the Megaship consisted of 6 decks for its crew which contained a vault where the Astro Morphers were eventually stored at the heart of the ship. The Astro Megaship was capable of faster than light travel allowing it to voyage between solar systems. From the ship's bridge, the Megaship's crew operated the entire ship. The ship's steering controls, sensors, weapons systems, communications equipment, as well as D.E.C.A. were all accessed from here. The bridge was located on Megadeck 1 along the front part of the Astro Megaship. The SimuDeck, located on Megadeck 5, was the training room. The advanced holographic and robotic technologies in the SimuDeck allow the Rangers to practice their skills in a realistic yet safe environment. The SimuDeck could be programmed to display any type of location and can also create automated opponents for Rangers to fight such as Craterites. Since the SimuDeck could be programmed to recreate any environment, it can also be used for non-combat purposes such as recreation.
Delta Megaship[]
The Delta Megaship was previously owned by the Phantom Ranger, who held the disc that could activate it. The Phantom Ranger gave this disc to Andros, as the Phantom Ranger had to go after Zordon and thought Andros could make better use of it. It was remotely controlled through the Red Space Ranger's Battlizer device and therefore did not require a pilot, so it completely lacked an actual cockpit. As a result, the interior of the Megaship was mostly mechanical parts and a small control room used infrequently by the Rangers. When not in use, it was held in the Delta Docking Station, a spacedock which would split apart to release the Megaship.
Voyagerzords[]
After Andros (incognito, before Darkonda found him out) wins Zordon's Key Cards in a card game with Darkonda and others on Onyx, the Space Rangers locate the Voyagerzords hidden on Ganymede. Made up of a combination of five vehicles: Mega V1 formed the thighs and lower torso. Mega V2 formed the shield and head. Mega V3 formed the legs, upper torso, and the primary weapon. Mega V4 formed the arms and chestplate. Mega V5 formed the feet.
List of Zords[]
- Astro Megaship : a spacecraft that served as the main zord, base, and personal transportation for the Space Rangers. The Megaship is equipped with 2 double barreled laser turrets and 2 ion cannons mounted on the bottom of the Megaship, with thick hull and shields as its defense.
- Astro Megashuttle : a secondary zord of Space Rangers. The shuttle had its own thrust capabilities, though it needed major boost power to blast off from the ground into orbit; thus, it had its own booster rocket sled attached to the bottom.
- Astro Voyagerzord V1 : a red Zord patterned after an astronaut's spacesuit. It is the personal zord of the Red Space Ranger. It has two missile launchers placed in its shoulders. In the sides of its jet pack was the M emblem of the Space Rangers.
- Shuttle Voyagerzord V2 : a black Zord patterned after a space shuttle. It is the personal zord of the Black Space Ranger. It is armed with dual wing mounted laser guns.
- Rocket Voyagerzord V3 : a blue Zord patterned after a rocket. It is the personal zord of the Blue Space Ranger. It lacks any weapons and instead serves to help carry Astro Voyagerzord into battle.
- Saucer Voyagerzord V4 : a yellow Zord patterned after a flying saucer. It is the personal zord of the Yellow Space Ranger. It has two laser cannons on its wings.
- Rover Voyagerzord V5 : a pink Zord patterned after a lunar rover. It is the personal zord of the Pink Space Ranger. It is armed with twin dorsal laser cannons. Despite being terrestrial in design, it can fly through space under its own power.
- Delta Megaship : the second Megaship of the Red Space Ranger and serves as his personal Megazord of sorts. The Delta Megaship was previously owned by the Phantom Ranger. It is armed with a pair of forward firing energy cannons
- Mega Winger : the personal zord of Silver Space Ranger and was a gift from the rebels on KO-35. It is armed with blasters on its wing.
- Silver Titanus : the carrierzord of the Space Rangers. It has 2 Mega Cannons on the spoiler.
