Plot[]

Set in the near future, Zenkai Sentai Rescueger centers on a non-government organization of rescue personnel, known as the "International Rescue Foundation" (or "IRF" for short), who aim to save lives around the world from both natural and man-made disasters. The Rescuegers travel the world in their yacht/aircraft carrier hybrid ship, which serves as the mobile headquarters for the IRF. Calls for help come unto the IRF headquarters through Tsumuji Kimura, the founder and director of this organization who is also the widowed father of his four children - Yuuto, Rika, Saiko, and Mei.

One day, an ancient cult, the Nairushison, has been accidentally brought back from the dead, awakened from their forbidden tombs in Egypt, making matters worse for the world with their goal of punishing the world for sealing them away millennia ago during the times of Ancient Egypt, even for our heroes to fathom. To make things up to the world, the Rescuegers now struggle against this undead ancient Egyptian cult in a fight that will determine whether Earth lives or dies!

Regular Format[]

Following the format of most previous Super Sentai installments, most of each episode begins a case of spontaneous human combustion, where human hosts are turned into living infernos called the "Kimera" by the Nairushison led by Pharaoh Hatsumare I, occurring at a place in the world. Determined to control Earth's human population, the Rescuegers respond to the case, but they must go through the Nairushison's Mira Soldiers in order to reach their target. Once they do, they engage the Kimera, focusing their attack on their core in order to end their hosts' pain and suffering, often using the Rescue Fire Extinguishing Cannon Quad-Buster to end the battle. However, things turn for the worst when the Kimera reveals their true hidden power, growing giant in the process and forcing the Rescuegers to summon their mecha to form the Rescue-Oh and put the Kimera down with a finisher prefaced with Rescue Red saying, "Evil spirit, be gone!" (悪霊退散!Akuryō taisan!), finally putting the host to rest.
