Writers Block is the twenty-second episode of Power Rangers Ancient Legends.
Synopsis
The captive Sophie has been forced by Prince Akaza to make a continuation of her cancelled comic High School Romance, who inserts his own character into the story. Unable to work creatively under his demands, Sophie seeks out the creator who accused her of plagiarism. Meanwhile, Jacob makes a delivery to a mansion, whose owner turns into a Kizuki with electromagnetic powers!

- Sophie takes on an alternate costume whilst in her ranger form that resembles the Toei magical girl, Poitrine, from the 1990 Fushigi Comedy Series entry La Belle Fille MasquƩe Poitrine.
- The date shown on the calendar in Ranger Prints when Danny accidentally pies Alex in the face is Saturday July 27th 2024, the same as the episode's airdate.
- When Phillip transforms into Electrode, the Astro Morpherās voice shouting "3, 3, 5" can be heard in allusion to the transformation code for the Space Rangers.
- When the Rangers perform their Spirit Metamorphosis into the Supersonic Rangers, Leo says "I'm Feeling it Now!" which is a reference to the catchphrase of James Carlson, one of the main protagonists in Ancient Legends' first Super Charged Afternoons partner, Hasbro Demon Warriors.
