Who in the World is Leviticus Cornwall? is the eleventh episode of Power Rangers Universe. It features the debut of the Hydro Sector Key.

Synopsis[]

Moose learns about a mysterious mind-reader whom he believes has crucial information about his late creator, Professor Leviticus Cornwall, and his suspected ties to the Arkeyans. When he finds out the mind-reader is far more than meets the eye, Moose attempts to learn a lesson about knowing who to trust.

Plot[]

The episode opens with Star Battleforce troops trying to fight off an Arkeyan onslaught on an unspecified planet, consisting of Moonbillies and Roswells, but are terribly unsuccessful. They are severely overwhelmed, and it gets worse when Gazla shows up as well. Meanwhile, at on board the Destiny, the Rangers, Colonel Xiao and Russell are entertaining a group of little kids on a field trip. Colonel Xiao is finishing up explaining how Russell develops the Ranger bio hardware without an external energy source by filling an entire whiteboard with an equation. General Sawyer thanks Colonel Xiao for controlling the crowd, while Arthur, in an attempt to open up the guests a little more, jumps in and decides to open it up for a Q&A with the Rangers, Dimitri is asked first; especially about his time on the side of the Arkeyans, and whether he has any advice for those seeking redemption - and he simply answers "no". Ryan is then grilled on some of his controversial opinions, and his tendency to be right on everything, Wild Bill is then teased by some of the guests for his accent and not making sense when he talks, while another guest points out he sounds "a little Jamaican". Florian and Bronzee are next, where one of the guests asks them how they can handle their claimed "volunteer work" for Star Battleforce at the same time as expanding their business, while Florian himself is called "Russian" by another guest, but Florian points out that DImitri's the one that's Russian - not him, and he's actually from Eastern Europe; Bronzee points out he's Serbian. Finally, Megan attracts a lot of questions from the guests, including living in her father's shadow.

As the guests have a lot of questions for Colonel Xiao, especially after becoming a ranger himself, Arthur confides to Ryan and Bill that Moose and Joi would have loved this, but Ryan notes that Moose has re-focused his attention to studying the late Professor Levictus Cornwall more and his connection to those around Dimitri, and Joi is helping him out with it. On the Destiny's bridge, Joi is showing Moose information of a mysterious psychic known as Spiky Fatale, who is claimed to have access to other people's memories. Moose says that could be useful since he longs to know more about his creator, Professor Leviticus Cornwall, who Dimitri had killed while serving the Arkeyans. Joi tells him Star Battleforce's records regarding Cornwall are very scarse at this point, but does advise him to seek him out the next time they are headed to Earth. Back on Earth, S.B.F. troops suffer long enough to request back-up, provoking the alarms to sound on board the Destiny. In response, Colonel Xiao, in a hurry, selects Ryan, Bronzee, Florian, and Arthur, who tries to back out of it so he can continue entertaining the guests, to assist the troops on Earth. Joi is also selected by Colonel Xiao to assist them, and asks Moose if he'd like to come on board too to see if Royale is around; he agrees. On Earth, An A-Drone has surfaced, and Wilton O'Neil, another O'Neil brother, is piloting it. As chosen five rangers' Uni-Voyagers attack, an unmorphed Moose is on-board Joi's voyager, and is surprised he can fit in its cockpit. The rangers then combine into the Voyager Squad Megazord, which, after a quick skirmish, is able to finish the A-Drone off, prompting Wilton to flee. After the others return back to the station, Joi drops Moose off at the psychic's supposed location in one such part of town.

Across town, the psychic, Spiky Fatale, is performing a mind-reading ritual on a susceptive volunteer. Once Fatale is done, she sees Moose approach her, and Moose assumes that she must be the psychic a known associate (Joi) was talking about, which turns out to be correct; he requests Fatale to read his past memories, but Fatale mentions that since he is a cybernetic lifeform, it may be more difficult than usual. Moose, however says that he has a good reason for coming: he wants to know more about the truth of his creator, besides Moose's own time in the CWF, and of course, his creator's demise allegedly at the hands of a then-Arkeyan affiliated Dimitri. Back on the Destiny, since Joi and Russell had brought up about the supposed psychic dealing with Moose to them, Ryan, Megan, Arthur and Bill are eagerly researching Spiky Fatale, with Arthur jokingly claiming that the psychic could be some guy in a suit, just as Florian claims that one of the Sector Keys they have at their disposal can supposedly read minds. Ryan confronts him, demanding him to prove it, seeing as Russell has no Sector Key on his database that can do such a thing. He gets out one, but Bronzee, knowing which Sector Key that is, attempts to stop him, but Florian accidentally uses the Sector Key - which does not read Ryan's mind, but sprays him with water instead, much to his disgust - and propels the Saint Denis duo backwards into one of the computers, where Dimitri happens to be working. Back on earth, after he signs some consent forms, Moose undergoes the procedure; the memory scan reveals that there were two separate versions of Professor Levictus Cornwall, one who was good and manufactured cybernetics until his murder, and the other was evil, affiliated with the Arkeyans, operating a rogue manufacturing operation in the Taurus Sector, creating innovative technologies for His Magnificence to provide to his armies.

Later on, Moose, having received a report from Royale after the procedure, is enlightened and arrives back on the base, where Arthur, Bill and Megan have a lot of questions to ask him, and Megan even suggests he should ask Colonel Xiao to allow him to tell the whole crew about it, as it could hold some crucial information about the Arkeyans. Moose does so, although Ryan is suspicious that this psychic could be an Arkeyan mole, but Dimitri shuns that theory, as that could be crucial information, just as Moose begins uncharismatically reading details from his report. Meanwhile, in Xibalba, Cereberos is arguing with the senators on how to make the rangers suffer further following Octiqua's supposed demise, only to be asked by Gazla if the Black Ranger has fallen into a supposed trap, based on activity back on earth; Cereberos is baffled as to why this is his concern, as he did not order the trap, insisting that Z'Aezoth did it. On the Destiny, while the other crew members have fun while looking at other minds Fatale has read, Dimitri is questioning Moose on what Fatale has exposed in regards to his past, so Moose reveals that it may not be Dimitri who was responsible for Professor Cornwall's death, leading to Dimitri confiding that he has likely been framed for his involvement in Professor Cornwall's assassination. At this moment, Moose finds out that he is due another appointment with Fatale, which is likely to unearth more memories from his past. Although Arthur, Wild Bill and a few others back him up, Ryan and Megan, and even Colonel Xiao tell him to reconsider due to the fact that Fatale could be an Arkeyan mole, but Moose says that may be all talk, and goes through with the appointment.

When Moose arrives for his next appointment with Fatale, Moose grows suspicious when he sees Fatale calling Gazla to feed the information she extracted from Moose, and cuts her off, demanding to know what business she has to do with the Arkeyans. In response, she reveals that she is the commandant reigning over city where she operates, and she was indeed a mole for His Magnificence, planning to use Moose's memories against the rangers - thus confirming the remaining team members' suspicions. He then morphs and gets into a fight with Fatale, who gains the upper hand momentarily, seconds before fleeing. Afterwards, Moose slams his Uni-Axe against a wall in frustration; Fatale then gets the go-ahead to begin the occupation campaign, having obtained enough intel from Moose's memories. Back on the Destiny, As the station's senior staff is assessing the escalating situation, and although Arthur tells him that it's not all that bad now that he knows more about Professor Cornwall, Wild Bill, Megan, and Ryan call him out for allowing an Arkeyan campaign to go through, allowing countless lives on Earth to be put at risk. Desprate, he goes to fight Fatale himself, but Colonel Xiao offers to assist him, seeing as eliminating undercover Arkeyans when they surface is a high-level threat. A change of plans soon comes to a head when Russell detects a Colossal A-Drone in the same area where Fatale is, and more than five rangers may be needed for the job. Although there is some protest on how to pursue the invasion, Arthur comes up with an idea: the Clone Sector Key - which he uses to clone Moose; one Moose, the real one, will team up with Colonel XIao to bring down Fatale, while the clone will fight the A-Drone in his voyager. Back on Earth, just as Fatale begins her offensive, Colonel Xiao and Moose appear before her, and morph, leading to a hectic battle.

As Xiao and Moose fight Fatale, the others, including the copy of Moose, struggle against the A-Drone, although Florian and Bronzee provide an opening with their Serbian Spark dual attack with their voyagers. A horde of Roswells is then summoned on the ground, and Xiao focuses on them while Moose continues to focus on Fatale, launching a series of rage-induced blows, allowing him and Xiao to finish her off with a Taurus Sector Blast and a Drago Sector Blast, respectively. Elsewhere, although the others destroy the A-Drone, the copy of Moose evaporates due to the time limit, but matters are made worse when His Magnificence signs an executive order that enlarges Fatale, prompting them both to join the others and summon their voyagers. At this point, Arthur decides to put the Clone Sector Key to good use again as he clones himself and his voyager, allowing the team to form two Voyager Squad Megazords - one with Voyagers 9, 7, 3, and 5, and the other with Voyagers 2, 8, 4, and 6. After Colonel Xiao provides an opening with a Mighty Dragon Strike, the two Voyager Squad Megazords finish off Fatale for good with a Universal Double Strike. In the aftermath, Moose enters the bridge and to make up for Moose's predicament, Arthur and his entourage reveal they've spent their time making a lie detector, which Ryan thinks could be useful in bringing down more moles. As all of this happens, another commandant, who has been contacted into action by Cereberos, is setting up a trap for the rangers, with the help of a local gang of criminals, and as it turns out, among the items he has smuggled are two Sector Keys, both of which share the same color.
