JJ was an ordinary teenager attending High School, up until he learn that his dad had died at the hands of Lord Drakkon. From that day forward, JJ would train to become a Power Ranger, and carry on his dad's legacy. Along with vowing to take down Drakkon once, and for all, and avenge his dad.
In the 1st Part of the Season 1 Finale of Cosmic Corsair, JJ would finally prove himself worthy of becoming a Ranger when he would retrieving the Power Ranger Address Book from Drakkon's Lair and bring it to the Crimson Ranger, and Master Treasure for safe keeping. He would then be gifted the SmartMorpher by the Crimson Ranger. In Part 2 he would finally make his debut as Cosmic Corsair Silver, and would single handidly defeat Prince Dragoon's humanoid form. In Part 3 his Silver Galaxy Zord would make it's first appearance alongside the Cosmic Corsair Megazord to fight against Prince Dragoon's Kaiju Form, and the two Megazords would combine later on in the Episode to become the Milky Way Megazord.
Years later, he would lose his ability to Morph into Cosmic Corsair Silver, once he had entered the virtual world of Metalia, and would be handed a Gear Blaster by the Crimson Ranger, along with the White Morphin Robotics Gear, allowing him to become the White Morphin Robotics Ranger, and the Leader of the Morphin Robotics Rangers. As Morphin Robotics White, JJ can use the Power, Abilities, and Weapons of any Past Red Ranger. And has access to the White Morphin Robotics Zord, which can combine with the other Morphin Robotics Zords to become the Morphin Robotics Megazord.

Five Years later, during an encounter with a Fleet of G-Breakers that managed to cross the border between Earth, and Metalia he transforms into Cosmic Corsair Silver, and defeats them. However, his Morpher ends up getting damaged in the battle, and he would no longer be able to become Cosmic Corsair Silver. After the encounter he would be approached by the representitives of a company hoping to stop the G-Breakers from getting to Earth, and they want his help. While at first JJ is rather reluctent due to him to no longer being able to morph. They then tell him that they have an alternative to the Morpher which he can use. With that JJ would agree to help them. And would be brought onto the Morphin Robotics Project where he would meet the other Morphin Robotics Rangers. Once the Rangers enter Metalia, they would gain their new Morphers, the Gear Blasters, along with the Morphin Robotics Gears, granting them ability to become the Morphin Robotics Rangers.
