Turin Brookes is Phantom Blue of the Phantom Rangers. He is more like Tori from Ninja Storm/the original Hexagon plan as he is not the second command of his team, but forms comedic relief.

He is portrayed by Riley Lio.

Character History[]

Not much is known about him prior to Hexagon except he, Jackson, and Chelsea are Freshmen and was a recent arrival to the area.

Jason, Chelsea's father and legendary ranger, gave them the Phantom Pistols in order to protect his treasures and find new ones. He also wanted access to more Hexagon technology that Tommy had.

He tends to be pushed aside in favor of development between the reds, Louis and Chelsea, or for other teams (Galactic Knights, Savage Storm, etc).

Shift into Nitro[]

The original Phantom Rangers, who were still in high school, were sometimes sent out on missions by Jason, one such trip lead them to the Boma Mines in Battle Mountain, California. This led them to crossover with the Coaster Force-Nitro Rangers as they were chased by a hoard of White Walkers across the Rockies.

A few weeks later, Darwin and the Hexagon Rangers met them again (bar Takshiel) as they made their way to track Lord Drayvon (who had overthrown Galieon as captain of the Katrina's Revenge) to Tokyo where they met Jeffrey Kensaki and the Jet Sentai Arrowman. The twenty rangers united and vanquished Drayvon once and for all.

Personality[]

Turin is rather sarcastic and not as careful as the other rangers. Unlike the other Viacom era comedic reliefs (Ashton-Trans, Malcom-minority and a slacker, Seamus- lazy slacker), he is not integral to the story.

Phantom Blue[]

  • Oliver Magnum
    • Phantom Chopper Zord
  • Phantom Rapier
    • Phantom Claw
  • Appearances: Hexagon 1-29, Nitro 9+10, Coaster Force vs Hexagon

Notes[]

  • First Blue ranger in a 3 man team (excluding Battle Thunder and Ninja Steel's 1st episodes) since RPM
    • As the RPM team was treated as a core team of 3, Ziggy and Dillion were the extra rangers to the team, and Gem and Gemma's counterparts were a team of their own
  • Since this season was adapted after Battle Thunder, he only met the Battle Thunder Rangers when they came to the present instead of teaming up with them in the past
