The Tega Sword Morpher is the main transformation device and sidearm of the Wild Knights Rangers and Universe Rangers.

Overview[]

Tega Sword Morpher is a hand-held gold or silver hand, equipped with a blue translucent blade which can be used for melee combat. It can be used in conjunction with the Ranger Crests, allowing the user to perform various actions such as transforming, summoning a weapon and finisher attacks.

History[]

Tega Sword Morpher is a sentient god-like being. Usually, it exists in secret in the form of a giant right hand. In the past, its power was divided into countless crest due to the Universe War. Following the Universe War, Tega Sword Morpher folded into its standby form, petrifying itself until the Battle for the Rings started.

The Ranger Crest are attracted to people who have strong wishes. Therefore, Tega Sword Morpher sponsors the Battle for the Rings, in which the ringbearers make a contract with Tega Sword Morpher known as the Ring Contract with the people they have chosen and decide who will be their number one.

Functionality[]

The gold Tega Sword Morpher is mainly used by the Wild Knight Rangers to transform, which is done by placing one of the Wild Knight Ranger Crests into the slot below the Tega Sword Morpher's blade. Both the gold and silver variants of the Tega Sword Morpher can also be used with one of the Universe Ranger Ranger Crests to transform into one of the previous Red Rangers that preceded the Wild Knight Rangers.

Transformation[]

To initiate a transformation, the user first inserts their Legendary Ranger Ring into the slot below the Tega Sword Morpher's blade. They then begin to perform various motions, clapping their hands together with the Tega Sword:

  1. The user swings the Tega Sword Morpher to their left, holding it vertically and clapping twice.
  2. The user then swings it to their right, holding it vertically and clapping once.
  3. The user then swings the Tega Sword Morpher in a circular motion 630° clockwise from their point of view, pointing the Tega Sword Morpher horizontally to their left and clapping twice.
  4. The user then twirls 360° to their right before raising the Tega Sword Morpher in the air, clapping once.

Alternatively, to initiate a transformation as a Universe Rangers, the user first inserts their Universe Rangers Ranger Crests into the slot below the Tega Sword Morpher's blade. Similarly like the Wild Knight Rangers during transformation, they then begin to perform various motions, clapping their hands together with the Tega Sword Morpher:

  1. The user thrusts the Tega Sword Morpher forward before pulling it back, facing it towards the front while pointing it upwards vertically while moving their left hand behind their right, clapping once with the Tega Sword Morpher.
  2. The user then swings it to their left at about 270° anticlockwise, pointing the Tega Sword Morpher horizontally to their left before swinging it back to their left at another 270° clockwise, holding it at the left of their head and pointing it vertically upwards, facing the Tega Sword Morpher forward to their left while simultaneously clapping once with it.
  3. The user then swings the Tega Sword to their right side while twirling 360° to their right before raising the Tega Sword Morpher upwards in the air, clapping once.
  4. The user then swings it behind them at 360° clockwise back to their front, raising the Tega Sword Morpher upwards in the air once more before swinging it down in a slashing motion, clapping once during the motion.
  1. Matthew raises the Tega Sword Morpher to the right side of his head, facing it forward to his right and clapping once.
  2. He then moves the Tega Sword Morpher to his left, pointing it towards the air at nearly 45° clockwise and facing it towards the front before clapping twice.
  3. to be added
  4. He then twirls 360° to his left, raising the Tega Sword Morpher up towards in front of his face while clapping twice before swinging it down, pointing it towards the ground.
  1. Jane simply raises the Tega Sword up to the right side of his head, facing it backwards and clapping once.

After the various motions are performed, the transformation is initiated after the user pressed the trigger at the Tega Sword Morpher's handle. The motions can mostly be skipped to just either a single clap or a few claps with the Tega Sword Morpher to hasten the transformation process prior to pressing the Tega Sword Morpher's handle's trigger.

In the case of the Wild Knights Rangers, their body is covered with light, except their head, which would be covered by colored claw-like markings instead (in which the color is dependent from their users) as a pair of golden energy rings manifested on their head. The golden energy rings then formed the helmet after taking the form of their rings animal motifs, as the light fades away, revealing their inner suit. Finally, a circle (color designated by the user's ring) and four golden claws like energy formed their torso armors, finishing their transformation.

In the case of the Universe Rangers, the transformation effects are similar to that of their original counterparts. (i.e. = Zack Jones transformation includes a Stag Arthrozord energy manifestation and Amber casing like Zack Stewart, albeit the Stag Arthrozord's energy is colored silver.).

Wild Knights Rangers members who used the Legendary Ranger Rings will possess similar transformation effects, the exception is that their original torso armors remain post transformation (i.e. When Dexter Khan uses the Speed Drifters Ranger Ring, he'll transform into Red Drifter Ranger, but with Blue Lion Ranger's torso armor). In the case of Universe Rangers, using other Legendary Ranger Rings while transformed will grant them the ability of the new Legendary Ranger Ring used (I.e = When Matthew Carson used a new power, Avian Knight Ring while he transformed into Universe Ranger Super Gear Red, he'll gain Red wings to help him fly).

Summoning[]

After inserting one of the Megazord Rings, the user raises and points the Tega Sword Morpher towards the sky before swinging it to the left side of their head, clapping once before bringing it to the opposite of their head, clapping once more. After both motions are performed, it allows the user to summon the weapon related to the mecha form of the Megazord Ring after pressing the trigger at the Tega Sword Morpher's handle. Said weapon will manifest out from the ring of the Wild Knight's torso armor.

Combination[]

To begin the combination sequence, one of the Wild Knights Ranger members opens the legs on their Tega Sword Morpher. After that, the Megazord Ring would vanish from their index finger and reappear as a giant version of itself, forming the cockpit. Noticeably, the user clothing will change into a white garb with black and gold vest and black jeans, also their shoes will change into a pair of brown boots.

Then, Tega Sword Morpher Giant Mode would release all of its joints and unfold its legs, rearranged its arms and shoulder pads to face forward. The blades split in half, and the middle joint would be folded as well. The bottom of the robot, twisting 180° counter-clockwise before the feet open up to reveal the conversion thrust of the Sole Jets. If the Wild Knights members had a personal weapon, their personal weapon would become enlarged, before it splitted apart to fuse with Tega Sword Morpher Giant Mode as part of its armors and limbs.

Finally, the giant Megazord Ring attaches at the top to form the head. To complete the combination, the user exclaims "Knight Into Battlefield!", then places the smaller version of Tega Sword in Robo Mode into the cockpit space and saying "Soul Become One!", fusing it with Tega Sword Morpher Giant Mode to become a single entity.

Finishing Strike[]

By holding down the trigger of the Tega Sword Morpher's with a Wild Knights Ring inserted, it allows the user to perform a Finish Strike. While using one of the Megazord Rings, the Tega Sword Morpher is able to perform a finisher unique to the inserted Megazord Ring instead of a Finish Strike.

Tega Sword Morpher Giant Mode[]

―Wild Knights Rangers[src]

Tega Sword Morpher Giant Mode is the main Megazord of the Wild Knights Rangers in Power Rangers Wild Knights, unique in that it only requires one pilot and has a specific formation for each of the Wild Knights Rangers, four of which comprised of their weapons attached to the main body. It typically appears in this form before beginning its transformation into Wolf Knight Megazord or any of its five other combinations.

Appearances: Wild Knights Episodes 1-8

Wolf Knight Megazord[]

"Wolf Knight Megazord, Crush Them All!"
―Wolf Knight Ranger announcing the complete transformation[src]

Wolf Knight Megazord is the combination of the Tega Sword Morpher and the Tega Wolf Zord Legendary Ranger Ring. It serves as the main Megazord of the Wolf Knight Ranger. In this form, Tega Sword is skilled in balanced combat. Mirroring Wolf Knight Ranger's fierce fighting style, he swings the Tega Sword around and fights with sharp attacks. He can also perform a Palm Strike open hand strike to block his opponent's vision, and can fly up while dodging and counterattacking with the Sole Jets energy boosters from both feet.

The finisher is the Wolf Knight Megazord: Spiral Strike, where Wolf Knight Megazord reunites the blades on his back before the robo spins as a drill and pierce the Super Robot with it upon its destruction.

Alongside Dino Megazord, Wolf Knight Megazord can execute the tag-team Dino Spiral Strike, where Dino Megazord in Tank mode and Wolf Knight Megazord in its default weapon form charges at and pierces the opossing Nihill Sentinel back to back, destroying it completely.

Appearances: WK Episodes 1-2, 4, 6-8
