Taylor Cox is a part-timer who transforms into Wolf Knight Ranger, the Red Ranger of the Wild Knights Rangers.

Taylor Cox was born and raised in Silverbrook City, a lively urban area with a deep history of knights and warriors. As a child, he was fascinated by legends of ancient heroes, often pretending to be a knight while playing with his older sister, Rosie Cox.
Signing the Contract & Becoming Wolf Knight Ranger[]

Taylor works bored at a convenience store, but his shopkeeper Zack motivates him to smile and be energetic. After saving customers and staff from an armed robber, he was warned by Zack and told to take a break first. Later, at Half-Century cafe, he faced repetitive chants from a voice. He goes downstairs and is greeted by Ralph and criticized by Dylan, his older brother. On his way to a job interview, he encounters a group of street boys who seeking for fight. He initially walks away, but when a street boy was challenged and he willingly accepted, he takes a beating. Zack arrives at the scene and fight street boys with Hip-Hop Kido, worried that Taylor might get in trouble, Taylor thanks Zack.
He and Zack have a conversation at the park, where they discuss the incident at the store and Taylor's reasons for working in his shop. He is intrigued by Zack's wishes about being number one, but he doesn't have wishes of his own. Taylor is caught in the crossfire of Candlezord's massive attack. He witnesses Zack transforming into Red Stag Ranger and is impressed. Taylor tries to rescue his friend from Candlezord's fire, but he gets blasted and is sent to the Megazord graveyard, where he finds the Wolf Knight Megazord Ring. Although Rosalyn Thorne from The Nihil Dominion later appeared and demanded Hoeru to confiscate the ring, Taylor decides to put on the ring. Once again, he teleports to a space and meets God Tega, who offers him a Ring Contract. The deity lectures him about wishes and compels him to strive to be number one. So Taylor accepts the contract and returns to the human world.
He confronts Infernos Wick, summons Wolf Knight Megazord, and emerges victorious in the first Final Showdown. With the Voidlings still standing, he transforms into Wolf Knight Ranger for the first time. He uses his ferocious fighting skills to take down the Voidlings, ultimately defeating them with the Finger Strike. Hoeru meets up with Zack again to settle his debts. When Taylor claims he'll become number one without making a wish just yet, he and a furious Zack clash in their Ranger forms.

Taylor is a natural-born leader with an unshakable will. He never backs down from a challenge and always pushes forward, even when the odds are against him. He deeply cares for his team and friends, treating them like family. If anyone is in danger, he will step in without hesitation.

Using the Wolf Knight Ranger Ring, Taylor engages into a red wolf warrior. He howls to instantly ignite his fighting spirit, and can use his fierce fighting style to mercilessly defeats his opponents.

- Enhanced Smell: Through the Legendary Ranger Ring, Wolf Knight Ranger gained the "enhanced sense of smell", similar to a dog.

- Wolf Finger Strike: Wolf Knight Ranger holds down the side button on Tega Sword Morpher. Has three variations:
- Wolf Knight Ranger holds the Tega Sword Morpher to the opponent's torso to deliver a volatile red energy slash through the opponent's abdomen before kicking them.
- Wolf Knight Ranger delivers three circle-shaped red energy slashes.
- Wolf Knight Ranger stabs the opponent in the chest, splitting the Tega Sword Morpher’s blade to create an opening, allowing the victim to escape before he kicks the opponent away upon explosion.
