The Star Spheres are the devices used by the Star Defender Rangers in their Comet Morphers for morphing and their weapons for other means. Star Spheres are divided into two categories: Morph Star Sphere, which allow the user to transform into a Star Defender Ranger, and Skill Star Sphere, which allow the user to use special effects.
History[]
Connie, Bullbot, Mako, Doggie and Bala all found their Star Spheres sometime after the war between the New United Alliance of Evil and the Power Rangers but before the start of Star Defenders. Connie, Bullbot and Mako used theirs to become the Green, Black and Yellow Star Defender Rangers. Hokulele found his Star Sphere during an attack on Sirius and became the Red Star Defender Ranger. Under orders from Commander Shou and Theta, Connie went to explain the Comet Morphers to Hoku and briefly covered the Star Spheres. Theta elaborates that Star Spheres are split into two categories, Morph Star Spheres and Skill Star Spheres. After an attack on the Rebellion Base on Eltar, apart from the five the Rangers use to morph, they have are Boötes, Telescopium, Cancer, Pisces, Scutum, Gemini, Aries, Pegasus, Sagittarius, Virgo, Lepus, Leo Minor, and the cluster of stars that Eltar and Mirinoi (which will not activate). Thanks to aid from a family friend, Connie manages to give the team a substance that'll block Star Sphere energy from being tracked. Vul obtained his Star Sphere next while on Mirinoi after he showed resistance to a monster. He and Bala joined the team as the Silver Star Defender Ranger and the Gold Star Defender Ranger respectively. Precious Gems
The Aquila Star Sphere spawned to Iolana when she rescued her mother and Hokulele without even a moment's hesitation. The Star Sphere allowed her to become the Pink Star Defender Ranger. The Pink Queen
Toxin had obtained the Scorpius Star Sphere some time in the past, but didn't have a Comet Morpher until he stole it from Bala. He used the Cygnus, Hercules and Andromeda Star Spheres in battle against the Rangers. He was also shown to have the Monoceros Star Sphere, but was unable to get it to work. After he was knocked out cold by SiniSting and taken captive, Hoku found the Cygnus, Hercules and Andromeda Star Spheres on the ground. Don't You Know That You're Toxic
