Shadow Monsters are soldiers of the Shadow Line, who are deployed by Shadow Duke Gascoigne and his generals in Power Rangers: Spirit Tracks. Most (but not all) are in command of their own Station, where they oversee the Shadows' occupation of captured human territory. To liberate a Station, the Rangers must first defeat the Shadow assigned to it.
Later on, the Shadows gain the ability to grow giant, thanks to Koromo and her black magic.
