Samurai vs. RPM is a crossover film between Sentai Rangers RPM and Sentai Rangers Samurai.
History[]
A year after defeating Yogoshimacritein, the RPM Rangers head to the wild western realm of RPM World to defeat Batcheed in a final confrontation. However, after defeating SkyRev Megazord, Batcheed opens up a dimensional rift that sucks the RPM Rangers and the RPM Zords to other Braneworlds. Soon after, while finding themselves fighting Grinders, the Samurai Rangers encounter Scott Truman as he helps takes out the Grinders on his own, much to the Samurai Rangers' shock.
Soon when the Samurai Rangers bring Scott Truman and Bomper to the Shiba House, Ji works on his Harley-Davidson as the Rangers enter the compound. Mia rushes in to start dinner when Scott notices the Harley, thinking the Samurai only rode horses. Mentor Ji asks who they brought, and Jayden says they're about to find out. Scott looks around the Shiba House and says that their stuff was interesting and says they're "old school", and Kevin berates him for nearly hitting them in the earlier battle. The Rangers want an explanation, and Scott tells them that he and his team are chasing Batcheed as he's looking for a way to wipe out the humans from his dimension. Scott says he can't de-morph since he doesn't know if he can breathe the air in their dimension, as the humans of his world have been forced to move into a domed city due to the toxins the robots pump into the air. Scott is shown an extra room to sleep in, and Mike tells Emily that he's uneasy about Scott, especially how he looks at her. Emily tells Mike that she can't see his eyes anyway.
Elsewhere, Batcheed arrives onto the Xandred’s Junk to make the Nighlok an offer to hand him their waters to bring to the mortal realm in order to power his Batchrium Plant. With the Nighlok, Sergeant Tread supporting him, Batcheed then attacks Yogostein, Kitaneydas, and Kegalesia as they were eating Antonio’s fish. Then they retreat while he fights the Grinders before Scott and the other Samurai Rangers arrive to support him. The other five Rangers show up and fight Batcheed together, but they are easily knocked down. Batcheed then fires hypnobolts at the Red Rangers and starts up a vortex attack to send the two back to Scott's dimension. However, the other Rangers take the hit and are transported to Scott's dimension while the Red Rangers are knocked into the sea.
In the Shiba House, Ji watches as Scott and Jayden affected by the Hypnobolt's venom, starts to discuss without reason. While Antonio and Mia meet the Gemma Gem and in Christmas World, Emily and Mike are jailed with Flynn and Dillon in Samurai World, and Kevin ends up in Junk World alone until he is found by Summer and Ziggy as they cheer him up.
The Red Rangers sit in a dock. Scott realizing that the other five Rangers sacrificed themselves, and Jayden says they did it because he's the key to stopping Xandred. He then tells Scott to look at himself and asks if the other Rangers got sent to Scott's dimension. He says that's highly likely, but that the RPM Rangers would help his group out.
Back in the Shiba House, Jayden and Scott learn that Ji and Bomper have been kidnapped and are being held at Mount Aguruma where an entire army of Moogers, Spitfangs, and Grinders under Batcheed await them. However, when Jayden disregards the safety of the hostages for the sake of the world, Scott is forced to fight Jayden. Batcheed is impressed with the effects of the hypnobolts as the two start fighting. While taking out a few Grinders, Spitfangs, and Moogers, Scott doesn't want to hurt Jayden, but they keep fighting. Tread compliments Batcheed on how well the hypnobolts worked. Scott fires the Nitro Blaster right at Jayden, but he counters by kicking the Spin Sword right at Scott. Both of them fall down, but they both get up and remove their shields. Scott then thanks Batcheed for showing him the fakeout trick. Batcheed wonders how they broke free, and Jayden explains that before he kidnapped Ji, he noticed that Jayden and Scott were fighting each other, so he used his own Samuraizer to cure the two of the hypnobolts. The two then realized they had to fake the fight to convince Batcheed, and Jayden says that he made a mistake since he can't reprogram humans. He soon discovers that the fight is also a distraction to allow the Lion Zord to help Jii and Bomper escape as the RPM Zords arrive with the other RPM Rangers and Samurai Rangers.
Together, the two Sentai Ranger teams defeat the grunts while Jayden and Scott take to the road to battle Sergeant Tread and Batcheed.
Giving Scott the Shark Disc so he can become Shark Attack RPM Red Ranger as Jayden becomes Super Samurai Red Ranger, the two are joined by the others as they slay Batcheed and Tread. Enlarged, Batcheed escapes to the Moon where the Batchrium Plant is, Segeant Tread sacrifices himself to let Batcheed escape the Zord Team Attack as they form the Samurai Gigazord and the RPM Ultrazord while he hooks himself up to his Batchrium Plant to achieve his full power.
The two teams are powerless until the combinations reconfigure themselves into the Samurai Megazord, Bull Megazord, Claw BattleZord East, PaleoMax Megazord, and SkyRev Megazord using the Samurai Battle Cannon to destroy Batcheed before performing a victory clap.
In the Netherworld, Xandred is frustrated that Batcheed and his Grinders were even more useless than the Nighlok. Soon after, the RPM Rangers head off to the other Braneworlds to find any more surviving Gaiark officers, wishing the Samurai Rangers luck in keeping their world safe. In the ending theme, we get to see the Samurai Rangers’ Zords in "soul form".
