Samurai Mission is the title for the team-up movie between Power Rangers Megaforce and Power Rangers Super Samurai. The future Super Mega Rangers make their debut cameo appearance in the film. The film features a remnant Nighlok who seeks to revive Master Xandred but instead revives the Mega Rangers' nemesis Vrak as the Nighlok Sanzu Vrak . To make matters worse, Jayden Shiba has been brainwashed into serving Vrak as Nighlok Samurai Red.
Story[]
While training in the park Troy finds himself fighting Moogers and the Nighlok Echoctopus before he receives aid from Red Samurai Ranger. However, the fight is witnessed by a mysterious figure as Echoctopus falls back. Thinking that Master Xandred has somehow returned, Jayden leaves to recall his companions while accepting the Mega Rangers' help. Setting up base in the Command Center against his wishes, Jayden introduces Mentor Ji to the Mega Rangers,Gosei and Tensou. As the others learn of the Nighloks , Kevin is the first to arrive before the Nighlok resume their attack. Using Loogies to hold off the two Samurai Rangers, Echoctopus attacks the Mega Rangers. However, the leader of the Nighlok arrives, revealing himself not to be Master Xandred but Vrak. Now known as Sanzu Vrak, calling himself "Xandred' heir". He battles Super Samurai Red before sticking his Zombats on the samurai and spiriting him away. As Troy tries to convince Kevin to help them, Emma and Jake pick up Mia while Noah and Gia meet with Emily and Mike before the reunion is interrupted by Jayden.

Sanzu Vrak,Nighlok Samurai Red & Echoctopus
Although initially happy to see their leader, they are shocked when he transforms into Nighlok Samurai Red (wearing a black version of his Super Samurai Red jacket), having been brainwashed by Vrak, and attacks the Mega Rangers to his companions' shock. Jayden then turns his attention to the Samurai Rangers, who are too stunned to do anything, and prepares to attack them. However, Megaforce Red takes the deathblow meant for them before Robo Knight and Samurai Gold arrive to cover their escape. With Troy's wounds tended to as Robo Knight suggests augmenting their techniques to fight Echoctopus, the Samurai Rangers agree to fight alongside the Mega Rangers. The next day, the teams learn to combine their Power Card techniques and Symbol Power abilities and manage to succeed as Troy comes to and assures Kevin that everything would work out, as Lauren Shiba arrives to take Troy away in order to work on a solution to the crisis. By then, as Vrak' plan to become Earth ruler with the flooding of the Sanzu River is revealed to Octoroo's shock, the two teams arrive to stop it only to be forced to fight Nighlok Samurai Red in order to hold him until Megaforce Red arrives and uses a Symbol Power-enhanced Flametornado Card provided by Lauren to free Samurai Red from Vrak' hold. The two teams proceed to fight their way through the Loogies and Moogers.

First appearance of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce
As the others use their Power Cards technique/Symbol Power combos to overpower Echoctopus, Ultra Megaforce Red and Shark Attack Samurai Red manage to defeat phantoms of Vrak' Warstar and Earth Armor guises before regrouping with the others to finish the fight with the Super Samurai Rangers and an Ultra Gosei/Knight Dynamic combo. As this occurred, sent ahead of the others, and getting lost, LightZord witnesses the platoon of Nighloks that Octoroo gathered to reclaim the river. However, they are confronted by a group of pirates called the Power Rangers Super Megaforce who wipe out Octoroo's troops quickly. They then transform into past Red heroes and Super Megaforce Red uses the RPM Red Ranger powers to summon the Rail Blaster with which Octoroo is finally destroyed for good. The Super Mega Rangers then spot LightZord watching them and ask him to keep their presence a secret before leaving. In order to allow them to defeat Vrak and Echoctopus, the Mega Rangers use a special card to provide Jayden's companions each with the power to transform into their Super mode (including Antonio for the first time) and combining their powers the two are beaten, however, Vrak makes Sanzu River overflow . Jayden (confident that they are strong enough together to use it) suggests to his companions that they use the sealing character to push back the Sanzu waters, with the Mega Rangers using their defense cards to help them. However, at this point Vrak enlarges with the Zombats while Echoctopus assumes his second life. The assembled teams battle in Gosei Great Grand Megazord and Claw Armor Megazord with Light Megazord providing backup. Though Echoctopus is destroyed, Vrak survived and attempts to destroy the robots with his signature attack. With the Samurai Rangers' encouragement, the Mega Rangers form Ultra Gosei Great Grand Megazord and manage to take down Vrak with the Symbol Power-Mechazord Strike. Later the Mega Rangers remark on how close a samurai's bond is and Troy suggests they all become samurai, making his team laugh hard. While this happens the Samurai Rangers (reunited with Mentor Ji) appear on a cliff and together draw the Symbol Power for dream, before sending it towards the Mega Rangers and bidding them farewell.

Legendary Ranger Modes[]

Red Rangers
(S.P.D. Red, Mystic Red, Overdrive Red, Jungle Fury Red & Ranger Red)
- The all-Red Change here is composed of the last five teams before Power Rangers (Super) Samurai.
- All of the Legendary Ranger Modes in this movie involve major projectile attacks. While S.P.D. Red, Mystic Red and Jungle Fury Red all use general projectile abilities, both Overdrive Red and Ranger Red need special weapons to fully utilize their potential (Overdrive Red with the Drill Blaster and Ranger Red with the Rail Blaster).
- In an error, Noah uses the Dual Crusher without anyone supporting his attack and without the Defender Vest.
