The series was previously called Takara Sentai Treasurenger and Bōken Sentai Treasurenger before Ryokō Sentai Treasurenger was settled on.
Plot[]
Thousands of years ago - travellers from all over the world gathered together to search for precious and rare treasures. However, during their search - a group of monsters attacked them and stole the treasures after their ambush. Some of the survivors from the attack tried to relocate and take back the treasures but with no prevail.
Years later, in modern day Japan - a group of young travellers learn about the legend that happened thousands of years ago. The group decide to complete what their ancestors were not able to and pledge to return the treasures to their rightful place. However, just as they are setting out on their journey - the same group of monsters return to stop them reclaiming the treasures.
However, the group are no ordinary travellers - they are the special group known as the Treasurengers!
