Rhea was one of the generals of the Othrys Empire as well as the personal assistant and secretary to Lord Cronus. She is the tertiary antagonist of Power Rangers Crystal Fury.

History[]

Pre-series[]

At some point in his conquests, Lord Cronus enlisted Rhea into his empire, swearing him unwavering loyalty, which would eventually earn her the title of personal secretary over time. As such, she acted remotely and secretly, ordering their emperor's orders to be carried out, having been the one who indirectly gave Aracne the green light (telling her that it was the emperor himself who told her, ) to invade Crystalia. Present Day[]

At Othrys, Rhea arrives and introduces herself to Artemis and Aracne, who both already knowing her. Artemis is surprised to see her, knowing that she never acts physically, but she explains to them that Lord Cronus himself sent her to their side to increase their chances of conquering Earth and avoid further defeats. Aracne finds herself somewhat jealous of her, but is still more or less satisfied to see another woman joining their ranks. Enough chatter, Rhea asks the latter to create a specific Masked Monster for her new plan. After Aracne creates Boomer, she and the monster leave for Earth. In the distance, Rhea had sent Boomer to destroy the city of Pine Ridge by detonating bombs placed everywhere. In order to ensure her plan is carried out and assess their level, she secretly spies on the Rangers.

When the Crystal Rangers, whitout Chris who is fighting a Monstone, arrived on a balcony in downtown, Rhea showed up and and orders Boomer to stand down. When they demand answers, she introduces herself to the Rangers and reveals that what came before has just been a warm-up. Ready to fight against her, Lionel transforms and tries to hit her but she dodges every strike and takes him down with a kick to the helmet. Rhea summons Gnomes but then uses her riding crop to empower them into Super Gnomes which easily decimate the Crystal Fury Rangers. She then reveals her new plan; place bombs all over Pine Ridge and its surroundings in order to wipe this town off the map, thus destroy everything around it, and create a direct link between Othrys and Earth to allow for a massive armada of Masked Beasts to invade and conquer the planet.

Rhea and Boomer oversee the Super Gnomes lay a massive beat-down on the Crystal Rangers, a sadistic and malicious smile plastering her face. She sends in Boomer to finish them off but takes him down with her whip when he plans to bowl them down again as she just wants him to gather dark energy to create the special bombs to use in her plan. When he questions her telling him to forget about his bowling tactics, she smacks him multiple times in the face with her whip which creates four clones of him and reveals that there are ways to be motivated without style (in this case, being killed) before sending the Boomer 5 away on thier mission. Eventually, the Super Gnomes finally completely de-morph the Rangers and they prepare to finish off the five but the Gnomes suddenly writhe in pain and melt into goo as tends to happen when she empowers other beings. Sarah is shocked at her coldhearted ruthlessness but Rhea just says pawns are throwaway help before turning to leave. However, she is stopped when Lionel says she'd regret leaving them alive but she considers them no longer a threat before finally teleporting away. Later, the Boomers meet Rhea at the quarry with their newly created special bombs before merging back into the original. Pleased, Rhea scans the area for the perfect spots and has Boomer set them up there only for the weary Crystal Rangers to arrive. This causes Rhea to laugh maniacally and she asks how to plan to succeed when she delivered such a heavy beat-down earlier.

Unfortunately, Julian has used his creativity to create a new power-up for the Crystal Fury Rangers after a heart to heart with King Soarin in his mind. Rhea orders Boomer to blow them to bits and does her whip trick to re-create his clones as more Gnomes arrive. However, Julian uses the new device (called the Phoenix Bow) which transforms the whole team (bar Christian) into their new Phoenix mode and Rhea orders the Boomers to attack. Once all but the original Boomer has been destroyed, Rhea sneaks up on Lionel and knocks him down before he can finish off the Masked Monster. As she does so, she reverts him to his default Ranger form in a few hits and she laughs her head off about it before ordering Boomer to lay his bomb. However, Lionel reminds her that he has friends and Christian is able to destroy Boomer with his Shining Fury Strike and she swears revenge before leaving. When Rhea returns to Othrys, Artemis (who had been secretly watching her initial battle with the Crystal Rangers) congratulates her on her tactics but she takes it as an insult for her failures but he tells her he is impressed with how intimidated and desperate the Rangers were with her. Artemis then proposes an alliance and Rhea accepts since it will be amusing to her. Phoenix Mode

Rhea later comes back to Earth to destroy the Crystal Fury Rangers with the help of Projector Gomoryu. To better help her, Aracne has developed a special tablet capable of enhancing the Masked Beast. She demolishes a building with it to lure out the Crystal Rangers and they soon arrive in the Crystal Megazord. With the tablet making Projector Gomoryu invisible, it easily overwhelms the Crystal Megazord even when it equips the Mixer Crystalzord, managing to cripple the Pyro Crystalzord in the process. Having proven her power and point, Rhea and Projector Gomoryu return to Othrys.
