Reika Igarashi (五十嵐 れいか Igarashi Reika?) is Seiken Red (セイケンレッド Seiken Reddo?), the Red Ranger of the Seikengers. A 17 (later 18) year-old student at Moroboshi High School, Reika was chosen by Hecate to be the second Seiken Red following the fall of the original Seiken Red, Xander of Sparta. It was later discovered that Reika is a Demigod, the only mortal child of Chaos and Fuuka Igarashi. As the leader of the Seikengers, Reika is the Head of the Olympian Imperial Guard.

Personality[]
Generally reserved and cautious, Reika is the quiet one among the Seikengers and tends too come off as too studious, being an honor student at Moroboshi High School. However, while quiet, she is extremely perceptive and quite curious, though at first she did not want to be a Seikenger, instead wishing to be left alone. Being the youngest member of the Seikengers, she tended to let Sayaka plan and Hyosuke lead at first, but later on became more confidence in her abilities and began to lead the team herself with Hyosuke as her second-in-command. Later on, it was revealed that Reika is actually a demigod, and she became the glue that held the team together, often acting as the heart of the team alongside Aiko.
When Reika was younger, she was much more social and a very compassionate child with a strong understanding of life. After being forced to work with others by Hecate, she regained her ability to collaborate and get along with others, more so after finding her true family. As the second Seiken Red, Reika shares many traits with her predecessor, Xander of Sparta. Both are extremely intelligent demigods with a strong sense of caution towards the gods, and both are openly very curious. As such, both Seiken Reds tends to spout the most random insulting comments and questions about an enemy, such as how confusing and ugly the Blemmyae uniforms are, something the two of them agreed upon almost immediately after Xander was revived. According to Sayaka, Reika is likely more of what Xander was as a teenager while Xander is likely more of what Reika would be like as a two thousand year old, though Xander generally has less restraint when it comes to insulting his enemies due to him being much less cautious than Reika. Like Xander, Reika originally did not get along with the Seiken Violet of her time, though it was less of an issue of Ancient geographical politics and more of an issue with Hyosuke not trusting Reika and finding her too childish to be Seiken Red. However, like Xander and Julius, Hyosuke eventually began to get along with Reika, and was willing to sacrifice himself to protect his leader when it mattered the most.
Despite getting along with her teammates, Reika is generally unwilling to discuss their predecessors, which Hecate later decided was due to how she didn't like being compared to Xander. In Reika's eyes, talk of her predecessor only serves as a reminder that she is not an ideal candidate for Seiken Red, and Xander was a much better Ranger than her. Because of this, Reika would often get mad at Mania Xander, especially due to how he had such a strong hold over Hyosuke even though he wasn't technically the real Xander. After Reika defeated Mania Xander and normal Xander began to influence the other Seikengers immediately after, Reika began wondering if her only purpose in life was defeating the Mania. While in Family Court with the Kaneko's and Eisuke, Reika was spontaneously claimed by Chaos, and afterwards discovered that Eisuke was responsible for her mother's death, almost destroying the court house in a fit of rage. After being calmed down by the combined efforts of Haruto, Hyosuke, and Xander, Reika, now knowing the truth, gained a new understanding of life, realizing that "everything happens for a reason", and "everything works out in the end". With Xander's mentorship, Reika became a skilled magician, able to perform complex spells such as switching people even in situations such as when Tartarus's pull was pulling Aiko down. In the end, Reika was able to encourage the Seikengers to charge into battle against Gaia without the gods or the first five Seikengers behind them, and in the end was able to lead them into victory and bring back their fallen allies.
