Puffrog is a pufferfish/frog-like Hydro Beast from the Hydro Crew.
Character History[]
According to Typhos, Puffrogs are categorized as vermin on Aquitar, as they tend to damage crops via their poisonous acid.
It was Puffrog who polluted the rivers of Angel Grove the night before from the bridge with General Slaystar, Hydro, & Hogs. The next day, Christine Murphy & many of the other agents of Hexagon, fell ill after drinking water contaminated with Puffrog's acid.
Typhos & Caleb Ross were sent to stop Puffrog before he could start a potential epidemic. However, because of his enhanced speed, Puffrog was able to flee from the locations where he was spewing his acid (i.e. a mill & a marsh) before the two could catch up to him.
However, thanks to his Aquitian instincts, Typhos was able to pinpoint Puffrog's location on the Dreaded Skerry, a small rocky island believed to be haunted. He & Agent Ross were both able to make it to the island while Puffrog & the other members of the Hydro Crew were still on it, & a fight ensued.
Typhos went up against Puffrog, who repeatedly spewed acid at him from random directions, & Typhos was able to dodge most of them. Pretty soon, Puffrog quickly expanded into almost three times size. He was about to fire a geyser of acid at Typhos when Agent Ross fired his laser at Puffrog, weakening him before jumping on his back to hold him down in position. This gave Typhos the chance to use his Aquitian Saber & slice Puffrog with left, right, & center cuts in random, causing Puffrog to finally explode.
After Puffrog's death, Agent Murphy & the other agents recovered from his acid, thanks to the usage of red cabbage juice that was suggested by Maddie. The red cabbage juice, according to Agent Smith, would later be used to neutralize the acid that was contaminating the parts of the ocean where Puffrog was.

Powers & Abilities[]
- Whenever he's threatened, Puffrog can expand himself, much like a pufferfish.
- Acid: Puffrog is capable of squirting poisonous acid through his nostrils. Anyone who drinks water contaminated with Puffrog's acid will experience light-headedness, fainting from body weakness, & joint stiffness. Of course, the effects are only temporary on some alien races.
- Enhanced Swimming: Thanks to his webbed hands & feet, Puffrog is good at swimming.
- Super speed: Puffrog is capable of short bursts of great speed.
- Telepathy: Although he has no visible mouth, Puffrog can speak telepathically.

- Urticating hairs: The long hairs all over Puffrog's body are highly venomous.
Notes[]
- The design for Puffrog was partially inspired by the Plimpy, a fish-like creature in the Harry Potter universe.
- Puffrog may bear some similarities to the striated frogfish.
