Princess Esmeralda is the Princess of Crystalia Kingdom who is the daughter of King Soarin and Queen Diamonda, the niece of Artemis, and the adoptive younger sister of Christian.
After Crystalia's restoration, Esmeralda was crowned queen, now call Queen Esmeralda.
History[]
Escape to Earth[]
Esmeralda first appeared in "Crystals Awakening", escaping to Earth from the planet Crystalia with the five Crystal Gems seeking to find five civilians with a shining attitude to become the new Crystal Fury Rangers.
Upon arriving to Earth, she meet Mick Kanic, a supervisor of CARAT, who has developed for her the Crystal Morphers, in preparation for the empire's invasion of the Earth. Esmeralda decides to use the Crystal Gems to search for warriors who have a strong shining spirit.
With the help of the Crystals Gems, which later became linked to the following elected officials, Esmeralda scouts the Esports star Lionel Isaacson, who is the number 1 player in the shooting games section, the ambitious athlete Camille Hernandez, who holds Pine Ridge records that have made her a name in national athletics competitions, the unbeatable fencer Lance Turner, who is 1st in the city ranking, Sarah Collins, a volunteer working for Collins Industries to save marine animals' life and stop pollution. However, The red warrior is still yet be found. Later, Esmeralda finally found him, a college student specializing in art and drawing, Julian Atkinson who, at first, was reluctant to become a hero before finally accepting their choice.

Personality[]
Esmeralda can be described as playful and eager to help, showing great concern for her friends and family. As one of the youngest in the battle against the Othrys Empire, Esmeralda is always willing to try something new, but she is still prone to moments of nativity, but nonetheless dedicated. Esmeralda can be easily frustrated, but her love of her family and friends always simmers down her anger.

- Diamond Tears: Princess Esmeralda would cry blue diamond-like tears when something tragic or sorrowful happens, which can create something useful for the team to use for themselves against their enemies in battle. - Telepathy: She can reach out and speak to Chris and others people telepathically.
- Light Generation: From her Crystalian nature, Esmerlada can cast a flashing bright blue light that can make the crystals and diamonds sparkle.

- Esmeralda is voiced by Tara Strong. Her suit actor is Mizuho Nogawa (野川瑞穂 Nogawa Mizuho?).

- Her name was originally supposed to be her mother's name, and vice versa, however the author decided to swap them for a better match.
