Power Rangers Tega Force is the 5th season of Power Rangers, serving as an adaptation of the 49th Super Sentai series, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. The series is Nathan10828's fifth production under the reboot continuity.

Production

In an April Fools' joke for 2025, the X account Heroes of Fandom announced the 5th installment of the Power Rangers franchise, also "revealing" the synopsis of the series, involving elements of Gozyuger. The actual upcoming season was later revealed to be real and the name "Power Rangers Tega Force" was officialy trademarked by Nathan10828 in 2025, during the run of Power Rangers Nitro Charge, with Power Rangers Digital Dynasty, however the Sentai season that was going to be adapted wasn't really revealed yet at the time. On April 1, 2026, it was revealed that the adaptation would be an adaptation of No.1 Sentai Gozyuger. The author revealed that Power Rangers Legacy Wars (in reference to the game whose plot is quite similar) then Power Rangers Mighty Beasts were working titles considered before Nathan10828 ultimately decided on Tega Force.

Synopsis

In the not-so-distant past, mighty robots known as Megazords fought the greatest evil that the universe has ever faced. In a pinch, the Megazords called the most powerful amongst them, the Tega Zord, to defeat the Dark Army. However, Queen Tega has come for revenge with a plan more diabolical than anyone could have imagined. She plans to infect the Morphin Grid from within, gaining the power to manipulate the legacy of the Power Rangers across space and time and is now in search of the Power Rings to do it - fragments left from the battle that hold the energy of heroes throughout the universe and multiverse. In the present day, the Tega Zord chooses five “teenagers with attitude” to become Earth’s newest heroes. With their new Handis Swords and the power of the Tega Rings, not only will the Tega Rangers fight the newly revived army, but they will find foes in the form of legendary warriors, including ones never seen before on Earth!

Notes

• Although this is only the 5th season of Reiwa Power Rangers, Tega Force is more or less counted by the author as an anniversary season, albeit unofficially.
• Tega Force is the first ever season to:
  • Introduce a male Green Ranger in the core team.
  • Introduce a Dino/T-Rex-themed Ranger with Yellow T-Rex Ranger.
  • Have battle royale elements (i.e., the Tega Force Rangers fighting other Ranger teams/members).
• Tega Force was originally supposed to be the fourth season of Power Rangers, however, upon learning that Super Sentai would now celebrate its anniversary seasons based on the year Gorenger was released and not the number of seasons, Nathan10828 created Power Rangers Digital Dynasty (justifying its 10 episode count) so that he could celebrate his anniversary seasons based on the number of Ranger teams and seasons.
