Power Rangers Squadron is the 2nd overall season of Power Rangers, serving as an adaptation of the 17th Super Sentai series, Gosei Sentai Dairanger. The season follows the arrival of Lord Zedd on Earth, under the orders of his superior, requiring new Rangers to grow stronger in order to fight him.

Plot[]

The evil Lord Zedd, with Dark Specter as a higher up his reports, arrives on the Moon, intent on conquering Planet 0117 of the A47 Galaxy. To protect the world, new teenagers with attitude receive their powers from the Morphinaut and will need new Squadron Zords, and the help of the brand new White Ranger and his ferocious White Tiger Zord.

  • In Gosei Sentai Dairanger (which the season was based on), Xev's White Ranger counterpart, Kou of the Howling New Star, is actually a child, which is why Xev appears shorter in his first fight as the White Ranger.
