Power Rangers Shattered Grid is an American superhero film that serves as a crossover story event which commemorate of 25th anniversary of Boom's mainline comic series.

Synopsis[]
Lord Drakkon, an evil version of Tommy Oliver from a different universe, initiates his plan: invade the multiverse to destroy all Power Rangers in existence. From Mighty Morphin to Digital Dynasty, no Ranger is safe as Drakkon’s conquest causes the Morphin Grid to shatter, jeopardizing all of existence. The Power Rangers teams of every universe and timeline must stand together along with their allies and end Drakkon's plan once and for all.
Continuity and Placement[]
- The film's events takes place after all the previous seasons, also serving as a sequel to the cliffhanger of the Digital Dynasty finale.
Plot[]
In an alternate universe, after Jason Lee Scott shattered the Sword of Darkness, Tommy Oliver came to his senses, but teleported away from the other Rangers in confusion and fright. The other Rangers searched the globe for him, but Tommy kept teleporting from place to place, where he had previously lived. At some point, Rita Repulsa caught up with him and managed to bring him back into her fold by telling him the story of a fallen general loyal to her who went by the name of Drakkon, who brought an everlasting peace to a section of the galaxy Rita controlled. Inspired by this story, and by Rita's words, Tommy goes with her of his own free will, and pledges renewed fealty. While Zordon and the Power Rangers worked to defend the Earth from chaos, Rita and her forces took a more subversive approach, by saying the world needed to be remade in order that it might be saved. Over many years, Rita conquered more and more of the planet through a mix of subversion, appeasement, and all out brutality when necessary. Together, they conquered Earth and killed Zordon, Jason Scott, Billy Cranston, among others. Before that, Zordon brought in additional allies, including Ninjor, the Phantom Ranger, and the Blue Senturion. Over the course of various battles, the Blue Senturion was killed, and Zordon, Alpha 5, and Ninjor created the sentient sword Saba.
Lord Drakkon also stole all the Power Coins from the Rangers—with the exception of Billy Cranston’s—to create his vast armies of upgraded militarized Ranger Sentries. Among these, he stole the White Ranger Power Coin for himself, fusing it together with his existing Green Ranger powers becoming a White Ranger/Green Ranger hybrid with both powers and twice the strength. He also killed Rita to form his own army, including Scorpina, Finster 5, and a brainwashed Kimberly Hart as the Ranger Slayer. To fight this threat, Zack Taylor and Trini Kwan founded "The Coinless", a resistance movement that opposes Drakkon's regime. Additionally, another Tommy from another universe and his fellow Rangers confronted him, destroying his Power Coin in the process. As they returned to their universe, Drakkon was accidentally transported with them. After his arrival, he was taken prisoner by Promethea agents.
