Power Rangers Racers is a fanfiction series based on Kosoku Sentai Turboranger.
Synopsis[]
An alien race known as the Velomachians spent eons studying the science of speed, and with the aid of Zordon, were able to use the Morphin Grid to power their vehicles. But they were attacked by a rival alien species known as the Vidaemons who had mastered dark magic. A few Velomachians fled to Earth, and used their knowledge of speed and the tech they had been given by Zordon to build weapons and defenses should the Vidaemons ever reach their new home planet. Centuries later, the Vidaemons landed on Earth, set to conquer it. The last surviving Velomachian, the elderly Accelerus, used his powers to summon five humans to wield the technology his race had created to defend their planet as the Power Rangers Racers.
A powerful Cosmic Ranger from another planet had come to Earth to help fight the Vidaemons, only to be captured and held prisoner. Upon being freed, the Cosmic Ranger joined the Power Rangers and the Videamons would have a team of six Rangers to deal with.
