Power Rangers Project S.H.I.E.L.D. is the animated Power Rangers series. It's being co-produced by Allspark Animation and Marvel Studios, with TerraDX writing several episodes. The series takes place in the alternate, non-canon reality of Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will also share multiple elements from different Power Rangers series, such as Power Rangers Beast Morphers, Power Rangers Hexagon (the original concept of the 11th PR season that would become Power Rangers Ninja Storm), and other media such as the Marvel Avengers TV shows.

Plot

HYDRA, a terrorist organization led by Red Skull, have plans to steal a cosmic cube known as the Tesseract. Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., sets up a project similar to the Avengers Initiative to call five young S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to become the team of Power Rangers. These Rangers will not only have to face against HYDRA from stealing the Tesseract, but also meet other characters from the Marvel Universe.
