Production[]

Synopsis[]
The Gem World has fallen, now the forces of Yondenheim set their sights on Earth. When only 1 team can stop them, 5 heroes will claim their destiny, as the Power Rangers Gem Paladins! Now, the rangers must face their greatest challenges. One of their own kind.
Plot[]
In the town of Stone Canyon, where the weather was nice and warm, Julius and Amber were practicing combat while Jade and Cyrus were playing a card game. Tony, thinking of Crystal, was alone listening to the radio. That's when Jade decides to talk to him and asks him if he's okay. Tony remembers, through a flashback, the battle between Ophelius and Crystal. During this fight, Tony, Amber and Julius were in the middle of a Megazord fight against a green plant. The flashback ends with Ophelius, fleeing, and having beaten Crystal following an explosion. Jade then deduces that Tony is still thinking about Crystal, to which Tony responds that he literally has no idea if she is alive. The other three join the discussion, and Amber supports Tony while Jules and Cyrus think that maybe she wants to be alone. They think about finding her but their Gem Morpher rings and alerts them to the arrival of a monster.
The Rangers arrive at the scene and see no one until Tony is shoved by a man, who punches him just before holding him by the chest, who turns out to be a Gnome. Meanwhile, on a roof, an unknown person watched the fight. Each of the Rangers fights individually against the Gnomes and manages to defeat them. Until they all found themselves surrounded by Gnomes and that's how Scythia, the Maestro of Nightmare, approached them. Julius decided to attack him followed by Tony, then the other Rangers, however they were all ejected. Tony then leads his team to defeat her together but Scythia is much too strong for them. The latter makes fun of them and their colored jackets, something which irritated Amber because it was her girlfriend who had made them but fortunately Jules kept it. Scythia orders her grunts to take care of them and ask them to keep them alive in order to bring them back to her master if the Silver Ranger shows up. The Gem Paladins Rangers transform and defeat the Gnomes. Meanwhile, the masked person still witnesses the battle and releases her arm, revealing some kind of familiar device.
This stranger then throws away her jacket, revealing herself to be a girl, and heads off into the battle. After defeating the Gnomes, the Rangers find themselves fighting a plant monster, which attacks civilians in addition to the Rangers. The creature, which disgusted Jade, attacked Tony by biting one of its tentacles until Amber came to save him. More Gnomes appear and fight against the Gem Paladins Rangers, so busy that none of them were able to save one of the civilians captured by this monster except the mysterious woman, Paladin Silver, who destroyed one of its tentacles using her weapon and warns the young girl to be careful, which intrigued the team leader.
The Gem Paladins Rangers find their teammate, Crystal, walking alone. Tony asks to speak to her, which she really doesn't like. Julius asks her why didn't she tell them she's still alive followed by Tony who tries to reason with her long before she complained. Jade asks a disgruntled Julius, and Cyrus to please prepare their transport which leads Tony, Amber and Jade to talk to her. The first asks her to explain everything to them, which makes Crystal complain again about the same fate which, according to her, repeats itself over and over again. Jade begs her to just tell them what happened, to which Crystal agreed and reveals her past, revealing everything that happened and ending up crying about it. Still crying with Jade comforting her and with Julius and Cyrus returning, she laments what happened but Tony gives her faith by reassuring and encouraging her. The other Rangers do the same and Tony, seeing the brilliance in her, tells her that they will help her by taking Crystal's burden off her and fighting like family. Crystal decides to trust them and joins their team. That's when the team's Morphers began to flash so, under Tony's command, the Rangers went to town to fight against Scythia and her Gnomes, who ordered them to scare the humans for their master Ophelius.
Arriving there, and after giving Crystal the team jacket, the Rangers fight the Gnomes and their mocking laughter. After taking care of them, they all decide to take care of Scythia who beats them all one by one except Tony, which pissed off Ophelius. Having no other choice, Scynthia decided to use her true form thanks to her mask which led to the morph of the Gem Paladins Rangers. After being defeated by the Gem Paladins Rangers, Scythia asks her master to enlarge her and her monster, merging into a whole new creature that immediately attacks them. In response the Rangers summon their zords to form the Gem Knight Megazord, Diamond Drill Megazord and the Train Shark Megazord. The three Megazords struggled to defeat him long before Tony came up with the idea of āāusing the Shark Train Megazord as a cannon, which ultimately destroyed Scythia and her monster for good.
Following their battle, the team is at their home base, where Cyrus and Amber are training for combat, chatting with Julius and Tony at the same time. Jade and Crytsal see Cyrus being turned backwards by Amber, which shocks them, then talk among themselves. Crystal said something moving to him leading to a hug between them. The film ends with a distant view of Stone Canyon and photo of the team.
During the post-credit scene, an unknown man holding some sort of familiar gear says something. After hearing a crashing sound, he uses his Morpher and morphs, fighting an unknown evil.

Notes[]
- This is the first ZenithFilms Media Era season.
- This is also the first Power Rangers film/season to be filmed in Detroit.
- Gem Paladins is the the first and only season of the franchise to be a film and not a series.
- Gem Paladins is the third season after Power Rangers RPM and S.P.D. to have a female Silver Ranger.
- This is the second season after RPM in which the Silver Ranger is the Sixth Ranger.
- Kiramager was chosen because it was the most recently completed season of Super Sentai at the time of conception.
- Due to the fact that this season is a film, several Mashins from Kiramager were not used in Gem Paladins. These Mashins include Mashin Rolland, Mashin Duston, Mashin Lifton, Mashin Carry, Mashin Magellan, Mashin Oradin, Mashin Hakobu, and Mashin Jouki.
- Initially, Kiramai Silver was not initially going to be adapted, due to budget concerns. The producers later changed their minds and added Crystal.
- Chronologically, The film takes place after the events of Beast Morphers.
- Gem Paladins was initially going to be called Power Rangers Underworld and be an adaptation of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger however it was decided that the idea was too ambitious so they changed it to take the more recent Sentai.
- As revealed by the show runner, Lupinranger VS Patranger will later be adapted into Underworld. Though the time line and cast are unknown. All that is known is that it will be the last of the ZenithFilms series.
- Yodonna was supposed to be the main antagonist however they had to change the character because they should have found an actress who looks like Nashiko Momotsuki. So they replaced her with Scythia who is ultimately a general of Yondenheim.
