Power Rangers DNA (Data Node Animals) is a fanfiction series based on Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger.
History
"DNA is the building block used to create all forms of life." That is the intro of the most popular mobile game, Data Node Animals, a game where tiny humanoid animals build their ecosystems (called Eco-Zones) with colored blocks. 5 teens who mastered the game's most important Eco-Zones get chosen to save the world when sentient computer viruses called Encryptids use the DNA game to enter the real world. Using power cubes given to them by their own game avatars, the teens become the Power Rangers DNA. They use weapons and Zords pulled from the gameworld to fight the evil villains. Later other players who discover the hidden sub-level Eco-Zones become additional Rangers. But when a hacker tries to cheat the video game, he gets sucked into the gameworld and emerges as the mysterious Black Ranger.
