Power Rangers Centurions Vs Marauders is the first season of the Ganga Era. It is based off the 42nd Super Sentai series, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. This is the first ranger series entry to incorporate 2 ranger teams in the same series.

The theme of this series is "Cops and Robbers", engaging in the 2 teams rivalling against each other, with one being based on police officers and and the other being based on gang of thieves.

Production[]

During January 2022, Disney bought back the Power Rangers franchise from Hasbro for $965 million after its last series came to an end. Disney's CEO, Robert A. Iger, felt like Hasbro had ran its course with the franchise and that it time to ignite the multi-series to its glorious stage. Although, Disney did offer $450 million to Hasbro, to only be incorporated in the franchise upcoming toylines. When Hasbro accepted the deal, Disney was officially in full possession of the Power Rangers franchise.

Season 1 Production[]

At Toy Fair 2022, at the Disney panel, one of the staff presented a teaser of Disney's first new series of Power Rangers (ever since 2010) which would be based on Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. The name was not revealed, but the panel did announce that the series will have a name similar to the Sentai version by March or April 2022. Following the the teaser, the panel also released a preview of the promo card for the new series.

During Mid-April 2020, Disney blogs and the company itself announces that the Sentai adaption would be called "Power Rangers Centurions Vs. Marauders".

As the following months went by and the auditions were officially casted, in June 2022, The producers and staffs of BVS Entertainment Renaissance Atlantic, Entertainment Toei Company, Ltd., Village Roadshow KP Productions Limited started to shoot and film the series in New Zealand.

During production on the series, FOX officially announced that the Power Ranger Franchise will be airing on its channel at 8:00 PM and that each episode running time will be 47 minutes (excluding commercial breaks). Some blogs predicted that the series megazord battles will consume 5-10 minutes of showtime based on the producers perspective, until it was official stated by FOX during the Hasbro Pulse Fan First Friday event.

During an interview with Hassan Ahmed, the main producers of Centurions Vs. Marauders revealed that they have officially wrapped up filming season 1 in October 2022.

Season 2 Production[]

In the interview, the producers also announced that they are now casting new roles for season 2. They also stated that season 2 will start production filming in December 2022 or January 2023 and is assumed to premiere in mid-November 2023.
