Enslaved aliens from another dimension, fleeing their captors, entered our reality years ago, and their portal released energies that affected 5 children. Now teenagers, those kids have developed superhuman powers from the portal exposure. A scientist, Dr. Haverson, (with the aid of one of the aliens named Goldex) helped them control their abilities. When the enemy aliens (the Dreadators) entered our dimension in search of their escaped prisoners, the five teenagers tapped into their full powers as Power Rangers.
