- First series to have two of the Rangers humans and four of the Rangers animals.
- The theme of the series is family.
- First series to have a ranger be married prior to the series
- With both it’s family theme and having a married ranger, it also makes this the first and currently only series where a ranger becomes a parent midway through the story.
- The origin episode is original episodes made by the author, showing what the beastmen were like before they meet John.
- Ari, Kajan, Tora are named after what animal they are, Ari means Lion, Kajan means Elephant and Tora means Tiger.
- Due to Yamato being a mentor to the Zyumen about how to live on earth, this is the first ranger adaptation to not have a mentor because just like Yamato from Zyuohger, John takes the mentor role for the Beastmen
