Power Rangers Animal Kingdom is the 34th season of Power Rangers, serving as an adaptation of the 49th Super Sentai series, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger whilst also borrowing elements from the 40th series, Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger. The series is Tri-Ranger Productions' first production following their acquisition of the franchise from Hasbro in 2026.

The show began airing on March 6, 2027 alongside Tri-Ranger's Snack Warriors as part of Netflix's Super-Charged Afternoons programming block after Power Rangers Nitro Charge finished it's run. After Snack Warriors had concluded on TBA, 2027, Animal Kingdom was joined in the lineup the following week by Tri-Ranger's TBA Warriors. The week after Animal Kingdom's finale, the series would be replaced in the lineup by Power Rangers (Season 35).

Production

On December 11, 2026, during a Tri-Hero Alert stream on the Tri-Ranger Productions' YouTube channel, executive producer Jenny Klein revealed that the next Power Rangers adaptation was already in the works and would be based off the 2025 animal-based Super Sentai season, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger although the official title wasn't given at the time as it was shown off as "Power Rangers (Season 34)". It was then revealed a month later in January 2027 during the Nitro Charge panel at that years Tri-Hero Con event that the adaptation would be called "Power Rangers Animal Kingdom" with the cast announcement being done at the same time before a teaser trailer was shown off to attendees.
