"Power Blaster 45!"
ā€•Activation announcement[src]

The Power Blaster 45 is the personal weapon and zord of Ranger-V in Power Rangers Project G.E.A.R.. Before coming into Shiro's possession, it was originally used by Proto 0, a Machine Empire general, prior to Ranger-V stealing it back.

Overview[]

Special Attacks[]

The Blaster has a total of eleven attacks based on what Power it is currently on:

To summon any ranger manifestations, the user rotates the control gear until the desired setting is selected, and pulls the trigger to release them. The Power Blaster 45 summons usually match in theme, though color and gender are often a random combination.

Finishers[]

The finisher is called the Ranger Legacy Strike, in which the user spins the control gear several times to charge the weapon before firing. Afterwards, energy manifestations of any of the past Red Rangers' helmets gather into a circular formation before merging into a giant Ranger-V helmet that destroys the enemy. This finisher's kickback was enough to send Shiro flying back a significant distance when he fires it alone and even V.R.A.X's upper body was detached when he used it and requires Shiro to be backed by the four android Rangers to barely contain the recoil (the additional bulk and power of Drago-Z does very little to help).

When enlarged and used by the Super Seas Megazord and both Grid-Energized Megazord combinations, the helmets of past Reds are replaced by the heads/images of past Megazords and Zords before merging into an image of the Grid-Energized Ultrazord's head.

Power Eagle 45[]

The Power Eagle 45 is the eagle-like jet mode of the Power Blaster 45. To initiate the transformation, the user holds the trigger. It forms the torso and head of the Grid-Energized Ultrazord.

Additional Formations[]

Grid-Energized Ultrazord[]

The Grid-Energized Ultrazord is a giant robot formed from the Power Eagle 45 and the android Rangers. The largest combination in the Rangers' arsenal, the Grid-Energized Ultrazord ultilises the speed, agility, strength, skill and power of all 5 core Rangers and is very fast & agile despite its lumbering size. It wields the Grid-Energized Ultra Sword, a glaive weapon formed from the personal weapons of the android Rangers. With the sword, it can perform the Grid-Energized Ultra Slash, where it races past the enemy with the Ultra Sword. The combination can also summon manifestations & attacks of the past Rangers' zords with its central gear (the android Rangers summon their totem themes while Ranger-V takes over the rest), and can overpower many of the Machine Empire's fighters. Despite its great power, the Grid-Energized Ultrazord is typically reserved for battles involving the Gigabots, and is not used otherwise.

Its finisher is the Ultra Legacy Strike, where the Grid-Energized Ultrazord generates manifestations of the past Power Ranger teams' strongest Zords and Megazords before sending them hurtling towards the enemy with several slashes and kicks.

The strongest zord manifestations consist of:

Notes[]

  • When the Ranger Legacy Strike is used, the background behind a hit monster is Cape Inubō, which is iconically used by Toei Company in their films' opening logo.
  • The Power Blaster 45 is similar to the Dualizer X as both can act as a weapon and become a Zord.
  • The weapon's function makes it very similar to Dark Zero's Anti-Gatlinger.
    • The weapon's functions as gun and jet are also very similar to the Time Jet from Time Force.
