Phoenix Squad is one of the currently active Squads the protect the kingdom of Astoria from evil. Specifically, they were trained to fight The Nether Star Clan, who the Dragon Bloods are the decedents of via the First Masters, who were Troopers who went rouge, causing the K/Pg War and the creation of a world where the Dinosaurs lived in secluded areas.
History[]
Pre-Knight Squad[]
Phoenix Squad started with 4 members: Ciara (actually the kings second daughter), Warwick, Prudence, and Nolan. On an early quest, Nolan disappeared and found an alcove where dinosaurs lived and almost became a whisperer of them overnight.
When he eventually returned, he was exiled by Wizard Hogerncross. Since then, Phoenix Squad had trouble keeping a 4th member on the team. Many, like Nolan, disappeared (most notably, Jimbo in the Cave of Farts).
This changed when the dashing Arc of Seagate arrived.
Knight Squad[]
Post Knight-Sqaud[]
Unlike most squads, this squad includes two members of another Squad in their class, the female members of Kraken Squad (Sage and Buttercup).
After the defeat of Ryker, Umbala had been trying to track down the Barryx Armor, which was said to be more powerful than the Armor of Astoria.
The six knights tracked down her Demon Foot Clan, who still held a tight grip over Seagate (as all of her servants were Segatians). The girls decided to take Segate on the day the Segatians gain qualities of Sealife and defeated Umbala once and for all. Arc had quickly come over his symptoms and he and Warwick finished her off.
They found a map in her lair to where the armor was in the abandoned Kingdom of Radiguet. It hung in a temple, seemingly untouched in centuries. Sage had a vision of the First Masters. She took the sword and was soon consumed by the armor's power.
Due to Ciara and Arc's run in with portals, and a bit of Hogencross' magic, were able to cross between worlds. There, they met Nolan and his six pupils: Samuel, Rodrigo, Gwenyth, Kim, Aelin and Tucker.
Nolan Joined his team, Buttercup and his former comrades against Sage in the Barryx Armor.
It is later found out Mario Fayne, a friend of Aelin and Tucker, had slipped into the portal at the last second and had a run in with Fizzwick and Panther Squad before taking the Barryx Armor for himself as revenge for Aelin for taking his place as Kavora's intern.

- This line up maintains the actual cannon events and not the second and third seasons of the Viacom Era timeline
- Nolan was a founding member of Phoenix Squad who was banished after Ciara joined and her predecessor is never brought up
- They have no Sentai Counterpart, although they bare similarities to the Lupinrangers and Patrangers, who would be the equivalent Sentai team for team-ups due to Sage and Buttercup's past as rivals that became friends/allies
