Plot[]
In Stone Canyon High, Danielle and Nikki - who was looking at a compass - were walking down a hallway in jungle exploration gear, while carrying walking sticks - Nikki also wearing a monocle. Nikki's monocle fell off as they approached Dinah and Sophie, freaking Danielle out, as they backed away slightly - as she had her stick raised."Whoa!" she freaked."Hey, careful guys." Dinah complained."Yeah! Don't you know where you're going?!" Sophie questioned."Ha! I'll have you know, we know exactly where we are going." Danielle scoffed.Dinah rolled her eyes.
"As part of our special training, Lt. Stone is having us take a course in orienteering." Nikki explained.
"That's right." Danielle confirmed. "We can find our way home using nothing but a compass and our wits."Nikki put her monocle back on, while Dinah shrugged her shoulders."Well, my advice to you would be 'stay close to home'." she told them."You're just jealous." Nikki deduced."Yeah." Danielle agreed. "What do you say, Nikki old girl, shall we head west?"
"Quite alright, old chum." Nikki replied, speaking with a British accent."West it is." Danielle grinned, as Nikki pointed forward."Ho, ho!" she laughed."Pardon?" Danielle asked, as they walked through Sophie and Dinah. They began to march while humming a tune, while Dinah and Sophie both watched and shook their heads, and then turned around and walked in the opposite direction.In the Power Chamber, the other Rangers were pacing around, waiting for a word from Delta, while Sparkle worked on the computer. Amy rubbed the back of her head, while Shannon folded her arms, and then put her hand to her chin, while Sparkle kept working, and then Amanda sighed.
"How soon, Zordon?" Amanda asked, as they stopped pacing and turned to him."I think I'm starting to get something!" Sparkle cheered.The Rangers sighed in relief as they made their way towards him. They then all looked at the scanner, and saw a blip moving on it.
"There she is." Sparkle cheered.Amanda chuckled. "Alright. Delta will be home before we know it." she grinned."Boy, have we got stuff to tell her." Shannon grinned.Amanda chuckled as she cheered In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet, Klank, Orbus and Gasket were all watching Delta's ship in the viewing globe.
"Delta's space pod is approaching our range." Klank reported."The coordinates are locked in, your highness." Orbus reported."Very good." Ratchet grinned. "But how do we get her here?""After we disable her craft, she'll float right up to our door." Klank explained."Excellent." Ratchet grinned. "Once we have Delta..."The viewing globe then showed Delta in the space pod's cockpit."..the Rangers will follow." Ratchet deduced. "Prepare to fire on my command!"He then laughed.Back in the Power Chamber, Sparkle was working at the computer, while Amanda,Sabrina Chloe Amy,Shannon Sophie Ashlee and Dinah stood around her.
"I'm almost locked on." Sparkle explained. "Come on!"The viewing globe was just showed static, but then it showed Delta's space pod."I got it!" Sparkle cheered. "Heh, heh."The Rangers smiled.The space pod moved through space, as Delta piloted it.
"Delta to Zordon!" she called, through a set of headphones. "Can you hear me?"She got no answer she pressed some of the controls to try and get a signal.In the Power Chamber, Delta's face came onto the viewing globe.
"Delta to Power Chamber!" she called. "Can you hear me?""Ha, ha!" Amanda laughed."Yeah!" Amy cheered, as they high-fived each other."Alright!" Shannon cheered, hugging Ashlee from the side."Yeah." Amanda grinned, as Sparkle laughed."We read you, Delta." Zordon said. "Welcome home.""Ah, man. It's good to see you, Delta." Amanda admitted.(Space Pod)"You don't know how good you guys sound." Delta remarked"You'll never guess what we learned from them while you were away?" Shannon questioned.
"And what's that?" Delta asked."We'll tell you when you get back." Shannon explained."Ha." Delta scoffed playfully, before pressing some of the controls.In Ratchet's palace, Gasket had been keeping an eye on Delta's space pod."We've got Delta within range, dad." he reported."Photon blasts are fully charged." Klank reported.(Space Pod) Delta pressed some more of the controls."Man, I can't wait to get back." she admitted.In the palace, Ratchet turned to Klank and Orbus."Fire!" he ordered.A photon beam came out of the palace and shot off into space.(Space Pod) Delta kept pressing some of the controls, when sparks came out from the back of the cockpit, and then from all over, shutting down the power. She groaned as she tried to get the power back on. (The palace)"Fire number two immediately!" Ratchet ordered. "She's ours!"In the Power Chamber, the eight Rangers were seeing Delta's signal going static."Um...what was..?" she asked. "What's happening?""What happened?!" Amy demanded franticly, turning to Zordon."What is it, Zordon?" Ashlee asked, worriedly."There appears to be some interference." Zordon explained, as Sparkle worked on the computer.Oh! We've lost contact!" Sparkle exclaimed.
"That's just great!" Shannon groaned, slapping her forehead."Oh, man." Amanda sighed. "We've gotta get the signal back."She turned back to the viewing globe."Oh, man. Come on, Delta?" she sighed.In Ratchet's palace, another photon blast was sent off into space, while more sparks came into the cockpit of the space pod, causing Delta to moan.(Power Chamber) The Rangers and Sparkle and watched Delta in the viewing globe."Delta." Ashlee breathed."Man." Amanda breathed."I can't believe it." Shannon muttered.Amy just looked from the viewing globe to Zordon.(Space Pod)More sparks came over the pod as Delta moaned, while trying to steady the pod.
"This isn't good." she admitted. "Zordon, we have a problem."The space pod spun around in space.In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet, Socket, Gasket, Klank and Orbus were all watching the space pod spin around."Yeah, right on the money!" Gasket cheered."Nice shot, Prince Gasket." Orbus remarked."Quiet!" Ratchet demanded. "We must prepare for our victory, and the annihilation of the Power Rangers.""Did you find her yet, Sparkle?" Dinah asked. I'm trying!" Sparkle replied, franticly as she worked on the computer.
Amanda sighed. "Do you have anything, Zordon?" she asked.
"I'm afraid the craft has lost all moveable capabilities." Zordon explained."Wait! Something is coming in over the audio channel." Sparkle explained. "Listen everybody.""Zordon, can you read me?!" Delta said sounding frantic. "Delta to Zordon!"The Rangers looked worried.In space, the space pod was still spinning around, heading towards deep space.
"We read you, Delta." Zordon said. "Are you able to hear us?""I hear you." Delta replied. "I'm alright."She looked at the controls."Good." Sabrina sighed. "What happened to you?""I don't know." Delta replied. "Something hit me hard."She pressed one of the buttons."All my systems are down." she explained. "And I've lost all my oxygen reserves."(Power Chamber)The Rangers all didn't like that news.(Space Pod)"My thrusters are offline." Delta explained, pressing some of the controls.(Power Chamber)The Rangers now looked more worried.
"And it's starting to get cold." Delta explained."Any more bad news?" Shannon asked, worriedly."Yes." Delta replied.(Space Pod)"My heaters are down as well." Delta explained.(Power Chamber)The Rangers still looked worried.(Space Pod) Girls I can't navigate." Delta explained.(Power Chamber)"Listen, I'm gonna need some help from you down there." Delta explained.
The Rangers listened in."Do you think you can get a directional fix on me?" Delta asked."Zordon?" Ashlee asked, as they turned to him."It's not good." Zordon explained, as Amy began to pace around. "Her ship is heading for the machine sky base.""She's gotta turn around!" Amy exclaimed."If they get a hold of her..!" Sophie explained franticly.
"That's not gonna happen!" Amanda interrupted. "Look, Delta, we've gotta find a way to turn you around. You're heading right for the machine sky base.""That must be want Ratchet wants." Shannon deduced. "He knows Delta's the brains here, and he must want to prevent her from getting home.""Shannon's got a point." Dinah agreed. "It makes sense.""Delta, I need to know..." Zordon explained.(Space Pod)"..do you have any control at all?" Zordon asked.
Delta looked at the controls. "None." she replied. "And in about five minutes, I'll hit their gravity and be pulled in. But I'll get out and push before that happens."
She then thought of something.
"Wait a minute." she said.(Power Chamber)"Zordon, that's it." Delta said, confusing the Rangers.(Space Pod)"If we can push me out of this trajectory, I just might have a chance." Delta explained.(Power Chamber)"Sparkle, raise the remote tractor beam transmitter." Zordon instructed.
"Of course." Sparkle realised. "We'll use it to push Delta right back towards us."She then walked towards the other computer.
"It's going to work perfectly." Sparkle deduced."The calculations must be exact." Zordon explained, as Sophie and Ashlee worked on the main computer, while Amy and Dinah ran towards the controls and Amanda backed away. "If they are off, only by a little bit..."
"She might be in worse trouble." Sabrina realised.The girls got to work, and then the transmitter dish on top of the Power Chamber, moved slightly to the left."Position set." Sophie reported."Me too." Ashlee reported."Same here." Shannon said."Power's up." Amy said.Dinah fiddled with some of the buttons on her controls. "Ready to fire." she reported.In the palace, Ratchet had seen the whole thing in his viewing globe.
Fools!" he yelled. "They'll never outsmart me! They think their puny little tractor beam is a match for my photon blaster! Fire again! This time, target their tractor beam!""My pleasure, daddy." Gasket obliged.In the space pod, Delta was pressing some of the controls above him.
"Girls, we gotta hurry." she explained. "My oxygen level's dropping faster than I thought."The gauge showed she only had about an hour left."Pretty soon, I'll be holding my breath." she explained.In the Power Chamber, the Rangers were waiting for a signal."On my command..." Amanda said. "Fire!"A beam then came out of the transmitter from the top of the Power Chamber, which shot off into the sky.In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet and the others had been waiting for this.
"This is as simple as pouring oil from a can." Ratchet admitted.The beam shot towards the space pod, which had now stopped spinning around. It almost made it to the space pod, when a photon blast showed up near it, and then they hit each other, causing the space pod to spin around again, this time towards Earth.On Earth, the transmitter dish began to shake and sparkle, and then sparks came out of the computers in the Power Chamber.
"Ah!" Sparkle screamed.
"Whoa!" Sophie cried.Lightning then went off overhead, as the room shook, and then Sophie fell onto her chest as debris fell down. Amanda then fell onto her arm and rolled onto her back, while Amy fell onto her chest, then Dinah fell onto her back, Ashlee fell onto her side, and Shannon fell onto her back.Inside the space pod, sparks came all over the controls, causing Delta to freak out.
"Girls!" she called. "Girls!"She saw that she was moving away from Earth."Something went wrong!" she called. "What's going on down there?!"She got no answer."Girls, can you read me?!" she asked, franticly.In the Power Chamber, the viewing globe showed the space pod heading away from Earth.
"Ahh!" Amanda groaned, as the Rangers all got up."What happened?!" Dinah demanded, franticly.Sparkle walked towards the main computer.Oh! she exclaimed, as the Rangers gathered around her.
"Zordon, did it work?" Amanda asked, hopefully.
Zordon stayed silent.
"Zordon, what happened?" Shannon asked, worriedly."Zordon, what's wrong?" Ashlee asked. "Tell us.""I'm afraid it didn't work." Zordon explained.Amanda sighed."Something from the machine sky base intercepted our beam." Zordon explained. "Delta's been pushed into a new orbit."
"Toward where?" Amy asked, looking worried."It appears she is on a direct collision course with the sun." Zordon explained.The Rangers now looked even more worried as they turned to each other.
"First Ratchet tries to get Delta towards him, and now he's gonna burn Delta up by shooting her towards the sun!" Shannon exclaimed. "I don't believe it!""You're not the only one." Chloe admitted, touching her shoulder.In the space pod, the temperature had risen to 90 degrees, as it headed towards sun, causing the place to heat up around Delta. She then looked out the window, and saw the sun nearby."Uh... I know I said 'I was getting a little cold', but, uh, this wasn't what I had in mind, guys." she explained.She then looked back at the sun, as the space pod moved closer and closer to it.In the Power Chamber, Sparkle carried a fuel cell tube towards the main computer while the Rangers watched. Uh Rangers!" Sparkle exclaimed. "Things may have just gotten worse."
"What is it?" Sabrina asked, as the Rangers surrounded her."That explosion crystallised the fuel cell!" Sparkle explained franticly. "I'm afraid, we're not going to be able to fire again!""Can we replace it?" Dinah asked."Only if we can locate the replacement cell." Sparkle explained.(Space Pod) Delta was fiddling with the controls, trying to get herself away from the sun."Not to pressure you guys, but you really need to hurry." she advised. "My heat shields won't last more...(Power Chamber) The Rangers watched her in the viewing globe.
"..than two hours." Delta explained."Hang in there, man." Amanda told her. "We're not gonna let you down. We just need to get ahold of the replacement fuel cells.""Well, if I remember correctly, I stored the rest of them in the university warehouse." Delta explained."Well, what are we waiting for?" Sophie asked the others."Let's go." Amy said."Rangers, King Ratchet will send forces to intercept you." Zordon explained. "Be prepared for battle.""Right." Amanda said. "It's morphin time!"They then brought their Zeonizers out, and then they lifted their arms, and then twisted their left arm upwards, and then crossed their right arms over their left.(Morph Sequence)"Zeo Ranger I Yellow!" Amy shouted.
She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit."Zeo Ranger II Indigo!" Shannon shouted.She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit.
"Zeo Ranger III Teal!" Chloe shouted.She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit.
"Zeo Ranger IV Jade Green!"Dinah shouted.
She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit."Zeo Ranger V Tang Blue!" Sabrina shouted.She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit.
"Zeo Ranger VI Red!" Ashlee shouted. She then lowered her arms and was then covered in her suit. Zeo Ranger VII Periwinkle! Sophie shouted. She then lowered her arms and was then covered in her suit. Zeo Ranger VIII Pink! Amanda shouted. She then lowered her arms and was then covered in her suit.(End Morph Sequence) They then all arrived at the warehouse.
"Man." Amy sighed, as they ran to the door. "This warehouse is a big place. It could be anywhere.""We'll find it." Amanda assured."Yeah, it's in there somewhere." Shannon pointed out.In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet had a feeling something was going on."Where are those pesky Rangers off to now?" Ratchet wondered. "I know they're not about to give up on their friend.""They're in a warehouse district." Gasket explained.
"What could they want there?" Ratchet wondered."Sensors show fuel cells." Klank reported."Like their tractor beam uses." Orbus explained."Klank, set up an ambush!" Ratchet ordered. "If they get too close to the fuel cells destroy the building!"He then turned to Klank."Do not fail!" he warned."Not to worry, majesty." Klank said. "May I take Mechanizer? He's good at this type of thing.""I don't care!" Ratchet growled. "Just get the job done!"Outside the warehouse, the Rangers still hadn't gone inside.
"Remember what Zordon said: King Ratchet is not gonna let us get the fuel cell without a fight." Amy explained.
"We're ready for him." Amanda assured. "Come on!""Yeah!" the others said.They then all ran inside the warehouse.Inside the warehouse, Klank and a bunch of Cogs were waiting for them."Your heroic days are over, Rangers!" he told them, once they came across him. "Get them!"The Cogs charged at the Rangers.
"We've heard that before." Amanda told Klank. "Let's go!"The others all raised their left arms, and then they all charged in at the Cogs.
Amanda dodged past one and then kicked another, Ashlee forward handspringed to avoid one and came across another, Amy punched one in the chest. Shannon jumped as one tried to tackle her, getting behind it, Sophie jumped and kicked one in the head, and Dinah jumped over ones staff as it tried to hit her with it, before kicking another in the chest. Sabrina blocked ones attack and then hit it in the back, Chloe spun around and kicked another, Ashlee punched one in the chest, Amy dodged ones attack, and Shannon blocked ones attack before hitting it with her arm.
Amanda kicked one in the head, knocking it down then blocked another's attack, before she punched it in the chest a few times. Dinah jumped over two as they tried to hit her, and then she kicked a third with both feet, knocking it down, before she back flipped in the air before landing on the floor. She then spun around and tackled a fourth, and then blocked an attack from the first two behind her. Amy rolled forward and then kicked one in the chest, and then threw it over her, then spun her legs around as more surrounded her, then she got up.Sophie kicked one in the hand, then kicked another in the head, then spun around and kicked a third, knocking it away. Shannon blocked ones kick by grabbing its leg, and then flipped it over, then spun around and tackled another, knocking it down. Ashlee kicked one in the chest, then spun around and knocked another's staff to the floor, before elbowing it in the chest. She then waved her hand upright, getting a third to back away from her, then spun around and hit two in the hand with hers, knocking their arms down, before hitting one in the face, and then hit the other one in the face, before doing her fighting pose.
Amanda ran through the factory, only to come across Mechanizer.
"Going somewhere?" he questioned.
He then punched Amanda in the face, and then punched her again, knocking her into a wall.
"Ah! I don't like you!" Mechanizer growled, moving towards Amanda."I'm not surprised." Amanda admitted, getting up.She then saw Klank and Orbus show up."Splendid effort, Mechanizer." Klank remarked. "Keep up the good work, and King Ratchet will give you a handsome reward.""I don't care about any of that!" Mechanizer growled, clutching his fist. "I just want to destroy!"He then punched Amanda again, knocking her towards a door, when the others showed up on the other side."Amanda!" Sabrina freaked, running in front of her.
"Amanda!" Ashlee said, worriedly, as they surrounded her."Enough talk!" Mechanizer snarled.He then charged at the Rangers, knocking Shannon over, then knocked to the side, followed by Dinah Chloe Sabrina, then Ashlee, Amy and then Sophie, before grappling Amanda. Amanda then got loose and tried to punch him, but missed, and then he punched her, knocking her aside. Dinah and Sophie then both grabbed him, but then he threw them both over him, knocking them towards some barrels.
"Guys!" Shannon cried, as she charged in.She jumped and grabbed hold of Mechanizer's back, causing him to spin around to shake her loose, and then she lost her grip and went flying into Amy and Sophie.
"You okay?" Amy asked, concerned."I think so." Shannon grunted, clutching her arm."Feel the sting of my blasters!" Mechanizer laughed.He then laughed as the three Rangers got up, clutching their arms, while the others all looked at them. He fired a lightning bolt at Amy, Sophie and Shannon, knocking them over, and causing a fire to the room. The fire spread towards an oil barrel, and then it blew up.
"Oh, no!" Mechanizer exclaimed, dropping a blaster.
"Look, one of his blasters." Sophie said, bringing her Laser Pistol out.She then fired it and destroyed Mechanizer's blaster, while Ashlee picked something up.Klank and Orbus then peeked out from behind a window."We've done all we can here, Orbus." Klank deduced. "Mechanizer, destroy the building!"
Amanda, Dinah and Amy ran into a burning hallway."We've gotta find that fuel cell." Amanda told the others, as they ran down the hallway."I don't think so!" Mechanizer laughed, blocking their route.
He then knocked Amanda aside, and then tried to ram her, but missed as Amanda dodged and hit one of the support beams. Amanda then backed away as the beam nearly fell on her, and then Mechanizer tried to hit Amy, but missed and hit another supporting beam. He then tried to hit Dinah, but hit another beam by accident, and then picked up a barrel and tried to hit Amanda with it, but missed, but then swung and manged to hit her, knocking her down near the fire.
He then threw the barrel at Amanda, but missed as she rolled away, and the barrel exploded once it landed in the fire. Amy and Dinah then both grabbed Mechanizer from behind, but then he lifted himself up and knocked them both back. He then punched Dinah in the face as he tried to get up, and then punched Amy in the face afterwards, as the rest of the girls showed up."Dinah! Amy!" Shannon cried, seeing them in trouble.
Mechanizer then spun around and fired lightning at the five girls, knocking them down as Amanda got back up. The three girls then jumped and grappled Mechanizer, trying to pin him to the ground, but he lifted his arms up and knocked them all back.
The building then began to fall apart, causing the Rangers to groan as debris fell all over the place. They then all ran for it as explosions went off behind them all - Amanda bringing up the rear while Chloe was taking the lead. Fire then began to spread through the building, and then Chloe and Sabrina jumped off a balcony as an explosion went off behind them, followed by Dinah and Sophie, and then Ashlee Shannon and Amy, and then they all hit the ground as debris fell near them."That was close." Ashlee admitted, as they got back up.
"You're telling me." Shannon admitted in agreement."Man!" Amy groaned, as they looked at the ruined warehouse. "We didn't get the fuel cell!""Oh, great!" Shannon moaned sarcastically. "That's all we need?!""Hey, where's Amanda?" Dinah wondered, realising she was missing. "Could she still be in the building?""She must be." Sabrina deduced, sounding worried. "Oh, no, you guys! What are we gonna do?"She then turned to the others."We have to go in after her." she realised. "Alright, come on, you guys."She then ran towards the warehouse, when Dinah grabbed her arm."Whoa!" Dinah said."Hold it, Sabrina." Shannon said.
"Sabrina, no!" Amy said, grabbing her shoulder."Let me go!" Sabrina demanded, reaching her hand out. "Amanda! Oh, no!"An explosion then went off, which knocked them all back slightly as fire came out of the door."Amanda!"Sabrina cried, turning back to it. "Can you hear me, Amanda?! She must have found a way out somewhere, you guys. I know she's safe. She just has to be, right?"
"Sabrina, look, I get you're worried about her, we all are." Shannon explained, knowing Sabrina cared for Amanda a lot. "But from what I've heard, Amanda's tougher than she looks. I'm sure she's alright.""Well, where is she anyway?" Dinah asked, as she and Amy looked up."Amanda." Amy breathed. "Man."Sophie then looked up herself. "Come on, Amanda." she muttered quietly. "You've gotta be alright."She then saw something on the balcony."There she is!" she called, pointing upwards.They all looked to where she was pointing, and saw Amanda jump down from the balcony with the fuel cell.
"Alright." Dinah said."Yes." Sabrina grinned happily.Amanda forward flipped in the air before landing on the ground."Amanda, you're alright?!" Sabrina exclaimed, happily."Yeah, I'm fine." Amanda said, as the others ran towards her. "So is our fuel cell.""Yeah!" Dinah cheered."Alright." Sabrina said."Yeah." Amy said. "Good job, Amanda.""We did it." Dinah grinned."What about the monster?" Shannon asked, as they hadn't seen him blow up.
"He's gone." Amanda explained. "Turns out he couldn't stand the fire and was burned up by it.""Well, that's new. A monster that destroyed itself, even if it's by accident." Shannon admitted."I know what you mean." Amanda admitted."Let's get this fuel cell installed then." Amy suggested. "Who knows how Delta's doing."In space, the space pod was still moving towards the sun.Inside, Delta kept checking her controls, and then sighed. "Come on, girls." she begged.She looked up as the sun got closer and closer to her.Later, in the Power Chamber, Sparkle had now installed the fuel cell into the transmitter controls, while the Rangers were all working on the controls.
"The fuel cell is in place." Sparkle explained, as she walked towards the computer the girls were at. "Hurry, Power Rangers. We only have time for a single shot."
Dinah pressed a button on her controls and then turned to the others. "We're at full power." she reported."Tractor beam, locked on." Sophie reported."Ready to fire, Sparkle." Shannon explained.Sabrina pressed a button on her controls a few times, but nothing happened. "I can't align the dish." she said.
"What's wrong?" Amanda asked her."The last blast fused the motor." Zordon explained. "We can't aim the tractor beam.""Man." Amanda sighed. "Look, I'm going up there. I'll do it manually."She then backed away as the others nodded."Amy, just be ready to fire on my command." she explained.Amy pressed some buttons on the controls. "I'll be ready." she told Amanda."Okay, now." Amanda said, before she teleported away.The others then went back to work on the controls.(Outside)Amanda landed on the mountain above the Power Chamber, and she climbed her way up to the dish. She then ran around it to the controls, and then pulled the panel open.In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet was watching Amanda in the viewing globe."That brat intends to redirect their tractor beam." he realised. "Send the Quadrafighters to discourage her!"Above the Power Chamber, a number of Quadrafighters came out of the sky, and then fired their sonic beams at Amanda as she worked.
"Ah!" she groaned, as the beams just missed her.She then lost her balance and fell over, and then rolled down the hill. She then came to a edge and rolled off it, but then landed on another and rolled further down the hill, but then rolled off it, but manged to grab the edge. One of her hands then slipped, and she looked down to see the ground several feet below her. She put her hand back on the ledge and tried to pull herself back up.The Quadrafighters soared through the sky, and then fired their sonic beams again, which hit the area near Amanda, and caused her to almost lose her grip. She tried to heave herself up, but then slipped, but managed to keep her grip.The Quadrafighters came back towards her as she looked up, and then they fired at her again, nearly hitting her this time, and then they fired again, almost hitting her as she heaved herself up. Another Quadrafighter soared towards her as she got up, and then it fired at her, but missed as she rolled over just in time. She then looked up before getting to her feet and then ran back up the hill towards the dish.Inside the space pod, Delta was starting to sweat from the heat of the sun, as the space pod moved closer, even through it wasn't spinning around now.(Power Chamber)The Rangers were all watching Amanda climbing her way back up to the dish in the viewing globe."Come on, Amanda." Sabrina said, encouragingly. "Come on!"(Outside)Amanda then made it to the dish, and ripped open the panel.
"Oh, man." she muttered, once she saw what was inside. "Hope this works."
She then pressed some of the buttons, but the dish wouldn't move. She then pressed some more, but then looked up when she heard the Quadrafighters come back. She then began to push a lever forward, but it was stuck, so she had to push it harder.In the Power Chamber, the Rangers and Sparkle were watching her in the viewing globe."Oh, come on, Amanda, you can do it." Sparkle said. "Just a little bit more."They saw Amanda push the lever forward, and Sabrina began to get worried.(Outside)Amanda kept pushing the lever forward, and then managed to do it."Get ready to fire." she said, as the dish turned around to its left.(Power Chamber)The Rangers and Sparkle were all waiting for her signal, when a green light came on."That's it!" Sabrina said, turning to the others. "She's got it!""Do it, Amy!" Shannon said loudly."I'm firing!" Amy replied.She then pressed a button on the computer.(Outside)The dish fired a beam out towards the sky as Amanda watched it.(Space)The beam then hit the space pod, and then it turned itself around away from the sun, and back towards the Earth.Amanda kept watching the beam from the dish as the beam kept moving towards the sky."Yes!" she cheered. "Alright, bring me back."She then teleported away.(Power Chamber)She arrived by the eight tubes at the back, and then walked towards the others. They all looked at the viewing globe, waiting for a word from Delta.
"Come in, Delta!" she called. "Do you read us?"
All the viewing globe showed was static. The eight girls began to look worried, and then Amanda sighed.
"Delta, come in?!" she called, trying again. "Oh, man. Nothing!"
"I don't believe it!" Shannon cried."Try again, Amanda." Zordon advised. "If we don't hear within the next ten seconds, then we'll be too late.""Man." Amanda sighed, before trying again. "Come on, Delta! Do you read us?!"They got nothing but static."Delta, are you there?!" Amanda called.She sighed when she got no reply."I'm here!" Delta then called. "I'm still here!"
Amanda looked up and laughed. "Alright." she grinned.The viewing globe then showed Delta alright in the space pod."Alright!" Amanda cheered."Yes!" Sparkle cheered. "Hooray."Dinah and Amy high-fived each other, while Sophie and Shannon hugged each other, and Amanda hugged Sabrina from the side."Yeah." Ashlee and Chloe grinned.(Space Pod)Delta saw the Earth nearby, as the space pod moved towards it.
"That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." she admitted. "Thanks, girls. That was a one in a million shot.""Hurry back, Delta." Amanda said.Delta smiled. "You're on." she said. "There's no place like home."She then pressed some of the controls above her.In Ratchet's palace, Ratchet was pacing around the throne room, which Socket, Gasket, Klank and Orbus watching.
"I am astonished by the incompetence that surrounds me!" he groaned. "Get that ship back here! Fire again!""No can do, pops. Now our fuel cell's kaput." Gasket explained."Replace it this instant!"Ratchet ordered."We do not have another one." Klank explained."Sorry." Orbus said."Next time, check the inventory before we go into battle!" Ratchet advised. "Must I do everything myself around here?"Later that day, the Rangers and Delta were all sitting around a table at the Youth Center. The Rangers held a cup of juice up and then clinked them together. (Shannon was between Amy and Dinah)
"I don't know how I'm gonna thank you guys for everything that you did." Delta admitted.You don't have to thank us." Ashlee assured, touching her shoulder."Yeah. Man, we're just happy to have you back." Amanda admitted."Thanks." Delta said."You had us worried." Amy admitted."When you left, it was pretty weird without you." Shannon admitted."I can't imagine what it must've been like out there all alone." Sophie admitted."But I wasn't alone." Delta explained. "I had you guys with me."
"You know, when I told Nicole about you graduating and all that." Shannon explained. "She said: I knew Delta was smart, but I still never thought she'd graduate early."
"Really?" Delta asked.Shannon nodded. "Yep." she said. "She wasn't surprised about you going into space through, as she's known that's been your dream for years."
"Will you tell her I'm back in your next letter?" Delta asked."You got it." Shannnon said.Danielle and Nikki both then came in, their exploration gear torn and ruined. The Rangers all looked up as they walked towards them.
"Hey, you guys haven't seen Lt. Stone have you?" Danielle asked.
"Nah. I think you guys are safe." Amanda assured. "What you guys do, get lost?""Yeah. Look, it's not easy with one of these things." Nikki explained, pointing to the compass. "It never points the same way twice."
She then handed Danielle the ruined map, when Lt. Stone walked towards them."Well, Reed, Sutherland." he said, getting their attention. "So you made it back? And in record time, I'm very impressed.""Hey, it's pretty easy when you learn the proper coordinates." Nikki said, as she and Danielle blushed in embarrassment.Nearby a man with a hat on, was talking to Shelby. "Two girls with hats on around here?" he asked, putting his hands on his head."Yeah." Shelby said, as she pointed to Danielle and Nikki."And know that the moss grows on the north side of the tree." Nikki explained, as the man walked towards them from behind."Hey!" he said, grabbing their shoulders and getting their attention. "Which one of you kids are gonna pay the fair?"
The Rangers smiled, knowing what was coming."I don't usually drive my cab all the way down into the Stone Canyon forest." the man explained, making Lt. Stone get angry. "You two sure got yourselves good and lost.""Taxi?!" Lt. Stone scowled. "You called a taxi?!"The man nodded, while Danielle and Nikki whimpered."Maybe now would be a good time for us to really get lost." Danielle suggested, looking at the compass.I agree." Nikki agreed."Yeah!" Danielle grinned.They both turned around and ran out of the door, and then Lt. Stone followed them, while Billy and the Rangers laughed."It is good to be back, guys." Delta admitted, grinning.The others laughed.
"Oh, by the way, what did you learn from those two while I was away?" Delta asked.
"Turns out Nikki's a pretty good piano player." Amy explained. "I found her playing in the music room once, and her talent was one of the best I've seen."
"Amy talked her into taking part in a talent show, and her performance surprised everyone." Shannon explained."She was the best one there, something everyone agreed on." Amanda explained. "Even Danielle admitted it.""Well, I'll be..." Delta said, disbelieving. "I'd have to hear it to believe it.""That's what Nicole said when I told her about it." Shannon admitted. "She never thought Nikki had a hidden talent like that."They all laughed again.
