Personality[]
Maddox is wise beyond his years and tends to keep to himself. He's somewhat serious and prides himself on being mature, mainly as he's the oldest of 5, and often struggles to relax and chill out. He's a great leader, but often is too stubborn to realize when he needs to step back and let others take charge.

Maddox is played by Xolo Mariduena, best known for playing Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai. In the Japanese footage, his suit actor is Kosuke Asai, who had previously been the suit actor for Cheedah Nick in Go-Busters. In the US/NZ footage, his suit actor is Masaaki Nitta, who has played several Red Rangers - including Dino Charge Red, Beast Morphers Red and Dino Fury Red.

- Maddox being a soccer/football player is a reference to Connor McKnight, the Red Ranger from Dino Thunder
- His serious personality could be seen as a reference to Hiromu Sakurada, Red Buster from Go-Busters
- While not the most recent Hispanic red ranger, he's the first since Rocky to be actually played by a Hispanic actor -- Will Shewfret, who played Brody Romero, is mostly of Asian heritage
