He is Rahni’s protector and closest friend, he’s been secretly in love with her throughout his childhood, but because of his duty as her protector and friend, he will protect her no matter what, but whatever happened on their planet caused them to be apart for quite some time, unfortunately Rahni doesn’t seem to remember Klide.
In the time being he’s roommates with George and trains him to be the 6th ranger, the two became best friends and have a close friendship, he feels that it’s too early for George to reveal himself to the Rangers much to George’s dismay. Klide is protective of George so he can be a strict teacher when training George, he also wants him to be safe when going out to battles, because of this it’s actually possible that he could have be gaining romantic feelings towards George.
Klide is a skilled fighter back on his planet Gemsilvy, but his main task is to remain by Rahni’s side and protect her, he will fight when her life is threatened, he taught his tricks to George and teaches the rest of the Rangers his ways so they will be able to help protect Rahni.

He has a golden armor that he begins using later in the story and is dubbed the Gold Ranger by his friends despite not being an actual Ranger.
