Jordan Matthews the Dashi Red Ranger, is a young archaeologist trying to find Dashiland due hearing stories about it as a kid. He has estranged relationship with adoptive brother, Khalil Freeman due his involvement their dad death.

Jordan's father died in car crash. He got taken in by The Freeman family, being raised with Khalil. They both had heard stories by Dashiland from their father, both feelings connected to it. But Jordan felt it more.
Later in life, he joined his father as an archaeologist, being his reckless protege.

Jordan is a fun loving and daring archaeologist who isn't afraid of danger. He always been interested in ancient since he was a kid.
Despite all this positivity, he felt immense guilt for getting adoptive father killed. He tries to reach out to his adoptive brother Khalil. This turns to be his worse nightmare.
He also empathetic understanding the complexity of siblings with Dashi and Ash.
He is shown to be high energy and love boxing, fighting very will the boxing powers of the team. But when his team showed to be losing to his willing his energy at least to make things right.
Later, Jordan became assertive himself a mission going wrong due to Khalil listening to him. He made more clear than he's sorry and admit he afraid to lose Khalil.
