Joi is a brand of Personal Robotic Asssistant designed and manufactured by the Tyrell Corporation. One of these Joi products is the personal secretary and aide to Colonel Xiao and first officer of the Destiny, who later becomes Ranger Series Pink of the Star Battleforce Rangers. She is the last of the main rangers to join the Star Battleforce Ranger Program.

Joi acts the foundation to the Star Battleforce Ranger crew. With a strong balance of warm love and tough love, she is bubbly and energetic. However, she takes on a mature and no-nonsense persona along with an enthusiastic and energetic attitude, whose often bubbly demeanor masks her passionate and shrewd nature from time to time.

- As an android, she has shown the following superhuman abilities:
- Heat Resistance
- As an android, she cannot be dehydrated, and can still function normally under the extreme heat when Destiny approaches the Sun while the organic members of the Destiny's crew are weakened by heat to the point of being immobilised.
- Space Adaptation
- She doesn't need any life support equipments when spacewalking outside of Destiny.
- Flight
- As Ranger Series Pink, Joi naturally has a pair of wings sprouting from her back which grant her high mobility flight.
- Superhuman Durability
- As Ranger Series Pink, her android body becomes human-like, and feminine.
