James Perez is the Dino Super Charge Black Ranger of the Dino Super Charge Rangers. He is also referred to as Black Ranger and, in roll calls, as Stegosaurus Power Ranger Black.
After being given the Black Prism by an unknown elderly lady, he became a Dino Charge Ranger alongside Kyle when Earth needed them.

Personality[]
James is a strong and laid back 18 year old. He wears appropriate clothes, listens to popular music, always with a cap. James is the strongest member of the team, with a more combative offensive fighting style than the rest of the rangers. He also has a strong passion and a good moral compass. He may be abrasive, but he means well. James treats the team like family and takes care of them.

- James was originally going to be called Chance but this name was eventually changed for unknown reasons.
- James' last name is the same as actor Chance Perez (who played Javi Garcia in Dino Fury)
- Coincidentally, James' initial name was supposed to be Chance, which is the actor's name.
- He is the third Ranger to be themed after a Stegosaurus after Koda and Javi Garcia.
