The Hydra was a Monster in Power Rangers Olympian Force.
Character History[]
Ancient Myth[]
Hercules fought the (usually nine-headed) Hydra as one of his twelve labors. He received aid from Iolus, his nephew, in this task. The Hydra had the ability to create two heads from one severed neck. However, fire on the stump prevented it from regenerating. Hercules used fire to defeat the beast.
Olympian Force[]
The Hydra was used as part of a plan to force Valerie Onasis to leave a party, causing her mother to "break her spirit", as Hades put it. It was unleashed on a construction site, where the other four Rangers encountered it. Fire, its old weakness, was ineffective when Jay tried to create it using his lightning, but the Olympian Crossbow's Heart Attack finisher managed to put it down due to it striking from the inside. When it grew to giant-size, it took the power of the Olympian Megazord: Warrior Mode with Peacock Power to take it down for good. Turning Heads
