Honno Sentai Zyukaiger (本能戦隊ジュウカイジャー Honnō Sentai Jūkaijā ?, translated as Wild Instinct Squadron Zyukaiger) is a American-Japanese manga series written and illustrated by CureKurogane.It will be published by Kodansha Comics and the first volume was serialized in Shonen Jump Magazine. The series follows a anthropomorphic named Leo, who travels from a destroyed planet to Earth, where he finds five young humans who hold four crystals that contain four animal spirits and have them fight along with him as the Zyukaiger.
Synopsis[]
Our Earth was known by our incredible wildlife that had lived for thousands of years. From the giant dinosaurs to small insects, different animals had made the planet very healthy and enriched. But what we don't know is there was another world that is just like Earth...
Zyudon was once a planet that was filled with luscious greenery and had anthropomorphic, sapients called Zyudonians, who lived happily until they were attacked by a group of aliens called the Metaloids, who lusts for destruction and death. As the planet reaches to its final moments, one Zydonian named Leo, managed to escape death, followed by five multicolored lights that shot out of the planet.
On planet Earth, four high-school students were on a field trip at a zoo and they stumbled upon four animal-shaped crystals. At the same time they meet Leo, who had crash-landed on Earth. Soon the Earth is attacked by the Metaloids, obsessed with their desires to kill. Filled with revenge, Leo, who was holding the Lion Zyukai Crystal was given the power to transform into a Zyukaiger, and brings the four young students together to help him battle the Metaloids for Zyudon and the Earth.

- Honno Sentai Zyukaiger is based/inspired by the 2016 Sentai series, Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger, but has some slight differences
- The Red Ranger's motif is the lion, like GaoRed/Wild Force Red Ranger from Gaoranger/Wild Force while the Yellow Ranger's motif in both series is the eagle.
- In Zyuohger, Zyuland is a parallel world, but in Zyukaiger, Zyudon is a planet outside of the Solar System.
- Zyuohger has one human and four Zyuman has a team, but in Zyukaiger, it's the other way around (one Ranger, who is a Zyudonian, while the rest of the team are humans)
