Hell Hath No Fury is the thirty-ninth episode of Power Rangers Universe, and is the second episode in a four-episode arc revolving around Arthur, Dimitri, Moose, Ryan and 263's exile on O'Thala, and features the full reveal of His Magnificence's true form.

Synopsis[]

The Destiny must cope with devastating damage to the station, as Star Battleforce begins to reel from heavy losses. On O'Thala, Orion Pax, aware of their pursuit of the Univeral Sector Key, has Arthur and the others pushed to their physical limits in order to obtain it, and the situation worsens as His Magnificence, dissatisfied with the failiures of his pawns, decides to personally take advantage by revealing himself to the rangers.

Plot[]

The Destiny, under attack from the Pom-Pom, Florian, and a fleet of Arkeyan cruisers commanded by Gazla, suddenly finds the firing has ceased, and the ships are moving back into the system, moments after Wild Bill emerges from the rubble, and is in very bad shape, and attempting to rescue his comrades. This leaves overwhelming damage, with most of the major systems have failed, apart from life support, and hull breaches on C, D, and E decks. Even the thrusters are gone, leaving the station motionless. As the fleet retreats, Bill helps Megan out of the rubble. They then find Bronzee, who is holding up a large slab of debris on her back, as it is about to fall on top of her, but is swiftly rescued by them both. After taking a moment to recover, and Bronzee begins to fear for Florian, Megan suggests they should assess the damage. On O'Thala, Arthur and the others are struggling to survive on the island, and the situation there is made worse by a renewed lack of food, Moose feels bad that they lost all the food when the Orion was shipwrecked, but 263 retorts that it wouldn't have even been possible since there was so much chaos. Ryan, in despair, kicks a rock and unintentionally injures his foot, screaming in rage, moments before Arthur narrowly calms him down. He reaffirms that their only way out is the Universal Sector Key, and Orion is counting on them, and asks for any questions. Dimitri then asks Arthur what he thinks the quickest route to it is, to which he has no idea to. The debate is made worse when it begins to rain, and lightning strikes a tree, prompting the team to head straight into the jungle, where they end up going down the river.

The Destiny is still assessing the damage. Megan is reunited with her father and learns from him five Destiny crew members are confirmed dead, dozens wounded. The hull is gone, and the launch bay is impossible to get to since E deck is still decompressed. Much to their surprise, however, Joi appears with Colonel Xiao and Russell in tow; as Megan is relieved to see them alive - as she says she heard the megazord explode, Joi mentions that due to her artificial biology, she was able to survive in the vacuum of space, and was thus able to save the other two in time. Russell informs the others that the primary energy core is damaged beyond repair, and that they've got no spare parts to make a new one, so he also needs some extra hands from another available vessel. Colonel Xiao later asks Russell to pull resources to get some engineering components in the launch bay. On O'Thala, the others are being washed down the river under heavy rain, and struggle to find a place to get themselves off the surging river, moments before they fall down a 12-story waterfall, and after a brief struggle, they manage to swim back to the surface, albeit exhausted; 263 even remarks that this is not him at his best. Ryan demands to know how many ordeals they have to face before they can retrieve the Universal Sector Key. Arthur doesn't know, but he thinks there may be a quicker way to it, but everyone thinks he's not providing a rational explanation. He explains to Orion Pax that they need the Universal Sector Key in order to defeat His Magnificence and the Arkeyans, then attempts to justify his and the others' poor physical condition as an excuse, but 263 says that he has lost it, and tells them all to follow his lead, much to Arthur's frustration, amid his harrowing condition.

On Xibalba, Gazla senses O'Thala on the index, and even learns of the rangers' presence, moments before a jubilant Pom-Pom arrives with Metal Florian in tow. Malvor commends Pom-Pom for a finely executed attack on the Destiny, of which he ordered. Gazla recommends that all three senators should launch an attack on the malnourished rangers on O'Thala, to ensure that they have no capability of return. Back on the Destiny, morale is still low among the remaining rangers, as the station continues repairs, and more casualties are piling up by the minute. Russell confirms that there are multiple cruiser vessels en route to the Destiny to offer mandatory supplies to the station, and assist in the repair process. Amid mounting pressures, and Arthur's whereabouts becoming more clear, Megan and Bill offer to go and rescue the Arthur and the others, but despite protests, Colonel Xiao deduces that they are needed more on the Destiny to help Russell with repairing the station's systems. With that, Colonel Xiao asks Joi to come with him to rescue the others, while the others remain on board with Russell on the damaged Destiny to assist the crews of incoming vessels with the repairs to essential parts of the station. Colonel Xiao and Joi depart in their voyagers on course to O'Thala to rescue Arthur and the other rangers, moments as the Prometheus, accompanied by other large vessels appear in time to reach the Destiny's aid.

On O'Thala, Arthur and the others face another challenge, crossing over a broken bridge. Arthur is dejected due to his ideas being shot down, and when the time comes for him to cross over the bridge, it collapses, and he almost falls into the surging river, but Moose, using a detachable arm rocket, saves him just in time; he even remarks he only just found out he could do it, but Arthur owes him one. Across the island, Colonel Xiao and Joi arrive on the island in their voyagers; Colonel Xiao decides to mount a search on the ground, while Joi remains in her voyager to mount an aerial search. As this happens, Orion Pax decides that the rangers have endured enough, so he gets them to safety just as they are about to figure out how to ascend another wall, and warps them to a more secure area of the island, outside of the forest. Before you can, a projection of His Magnificence appears before them, and fires blasts from his fingertips at the group, but Pax is able to shield them moments before he teleports himself and the rangers to somewhere safe - in the form of a small cave. At this sight, Orion Pax sees that the rangers (sans Moose, who is artificial), are severely malnourished due to their experiences on O'Thala, combined with the lack of sustainable food and water; Ryan even points out that their ordeal has lasted for 12 days. Arthur notes he is shocked that the ordeal lasted this long, and fears that time may be dilated on the planet in comparison to the Destiny. He doesn't even know if the others are mounting a search for them, given that the attack on the Destiny, which they know little about yet, could have killed the remaining rangers.

Arthur is about to ponder what to do next moments before he notices Joi's voyager, and Joi emerges from it, relived that he and the others are alive, and Colonel Xiao also regroups with them, and manages to inform those back on the Destiny that they officially found them. Moose says they can just pick up the Universal Sector Key, leave the planet, and probably focus on what they were supposed to be doing. Orion Pax corrects him, insisting that the only way out of O'Thala is to obtain the Universal Sector Key, as the spell he used prevented the planet's people from leaving once they entered, and are trapped there until they pass the last test: reach the highest summit on the island, which is approximately 10 miles from where they are. That evening, Colonel Xiao and Joi have provided the malnourished rangers some safe food and water, especially to Arthur, who has undoubtedly suffered the worst. Arthur reveals to Xiao that Malvor has been messing with their heads throughout the whole ordeal, and using Orion Pax's tests to his advantage. Colonel Xiao, although hesitant at first, allows Arthur to seek him out for retribution, while he gives the immediate instruction to inform him and the others when he finds them. As Arthur sets off, 263 finds Orion Pax by the river. Orion says Arthur seems like a reckless fool, but 263says that actually might not be the case and recounts how Arthur might even prove himself to be Orion Pax's equal, and potentially become the chosen one, as the one to bring balance to the Universe. Orion doesn’t believe that, and even notes that he hardly even knows Arthur at present, because he only just found out that Arthur is in his bloodline.

The next day, Arthur finds arrives in front of Malvor, Pom-Pom and Gazla, who have been ordered by His Magnificence to prevent the rangers from obtaining the Universal Sector Key, and morphs. He tries taking on a dozen or so Roswells, as he informs the others of Malvor's location, but the Senators also join in and attack Arthur. The others arrive just in time to help out; Orion Pax watches the rangers finish off the Roswells. After an intense battle, the Senators also just watch and then attack once the rangers are left an opening, forcing them all to demorph. Gazla sends a blast toward them, but as they brace themselves, Orion Pax blocks the attack; he has been moved by Arthur’s words - They must defeat the empire, no matter what it takes. With that, the rangers all morph once again and the battle with the Senators begins. Arthur and Orion take on Pom-Pom, who assumes Arthur's determined to get Florian back. Dimitri, Moose and 263 take on Gazla, while Joi, Ryan and Colonel Xiao take on Malvor, but he requests an executive order, thus embiggening himself, so the three of them form the Drago Pride Megazord, and 263 joins them too as he forms the Phoenix Steel Megazord. The two megazords initially struggle against Malvor, but they are able to outmatch him eventually, and they use their finishers to defeat Malvor, who survives, and proceeds to inform His Magnificence that now may be the best time to intervene in the rangers' battles, and he gladly accepts. Arthur and Orion are doing well against Pom-Pom together; Orion says he’s taken a liking to Arthur and finally accepts him as his own. The two of them deliver their finishers at Pom-Pom who can’t believe they are beating her. She is defiant and declares the galaxy belongs to His Magnificence alone. She fires at them, but Arthur and Orion block and hold the attack.

Just then, a bright glowing thing appears above them. They send the attack hurtling back and it travels right past Pom-Pom to leave gaping holes in the building and the mountain behind her. The glowing thing disappears and Arthur and Orion Pax deliver the final final blows at Pom-Pom, as she manages to flee. All the rangers and Orion Pax are then assembled and surround Gazla moments before an unknown smoky substance ambushes them. The rangers then attempt to deliver a All-Star Sector Blast, while 263 delivers a Blazing Storm Slash, at him; His Magnificence disappears, as it is assumed that the rangers have defeated him. Suddenly, a mysterious figure with a black glove shoots right at Arthur's heart. forcing him to demorph, as he collapses to the ground. Ryan and Joi hurry over to him, and Joi even checks his vitals, and she is unable to get a heartbeat from him. As the crew begins to panic, the dark figure approaches, removes his hood - it is His Magnificence, who has chosen now as the time to reveal himself in person to the rangers, declaring that they will now all suffer the same fate as the Red Ranger. The remaining rangers all charge at His Magnificence, but he just waves his hand and the rangers are engulfed in a huge fireball causing them to demorph, except 263. 263 then uses this advantage to get an opening on His Magnificence, but the supreme leader absorbs his attacks, provoking him to get up close to him, only to have his Phoenix Saber blocked, seconds before His Magnificence headbutts him to the ground, sending him flying and forcing him too to demorph. With all rangers on the cusp of defeat, His Magnificence coldly mocks his defeated opposers as he prepares his next move.
