Hecate (ヘカテ Hekate?) is a third generation Greek Titan Goddess, the Goddess of magic, crossroads, witchcraft, sorcery, ghosts and necromancy, and the daughter of the Titan Gods Perses and Asteria. She is a mentor of the Seikengers, as well as the mother of Xander of Sparta/Seiken Red I and patron Goddess of Reika Igarashi/Seiken Red II. She is traditionally the patron of Seiken Red.

Personality[]
An extremely mysterious goddess, Hecate is a generally solitary woman who expects people to make their own decisions. Extremely wise, she watches over the Seikengers and gives them advice when needed, taking pride in the fact that her Champion is their leader. Like her son, she is calm, level-headed, and generally cooler and more easygoing than the majority of Gods. However, she is extremely protective of her children and champions, and is a fierce protector of the two Seiken Reds. A Goddess who cares about her children much more than it seems, she was incredibly disappointed when her son was made into a Mania, and was very thankful towards Reika for restoring him.
In general, Hecate does things for the greater good no matter the immediate consequence. As the goddess of crossroads, she knows there are usually two directions to go, forwards or back, or four directions in some situations. While she will usually tell the consequences of each direction, she expects the receivers of her advice to decide on their own what to do, and in some situations, she expects others to make their own paths rather than following a path she laid out for them. Though generally not allowed to interfere in mortal affairs, when the Seikengers are on the brink of destruction, she is usually the one to save them.
