Hachiken Yuugo (八軒勇吾 Hachiken Yūgo?) is DiamondYellow (ダイヤイエロー Daiya Ierō?) the Yellow Ranger of the Kirarangers and the leader of the team. Hachiken is a graduate at Enzono Agricultural High School and is now attending Saijou University with his teammates. He is shown to be a very introvert person before becoming a Kiraranger and after meeting with the rest of the team, he starts sees himself trying to keep the team together, thus being chosen by WashiDiamond for his leadership, earning the Zyuseki Diamond and the power of Lightning.
