Gwen Montgomery is the Green Atomic Ranger, with powers based on the electron. Thanks to the effects of her Atomic Morpher, she is a metahuman with the ability to duplicate herself.
Character History[]
Gwen grew up on a farm in Austin, Texas. Along with her parents, Gwen had a wheelchair-bound Grandpa and a duct tape-loving brother studying in Oxford, the latter of whom was killed in a Wellspring raid. She herself was captured and likely tortured by Gelato, successfully escaping on her second attempt. With difficulty, she reached Five Hills, where she was brought to Fisher Labs. She accepted her morpher readily, along with her position as secretary for Fisher Labs.
During the Rangers' various battles, she primarily distinguished herself by telling jokes as she fought, and her teammates called her out on their cheese several times. She also used her power of self-duplication to skip out on a Ranger battle, which turned out to be a good thing as a Gel Scout had infiltrated the Labs. Gwen managed to fight it off, but needed her teammates after it turned Rob No-Legs into a Gel Shocker.
Later, she helped Marcus and Rebel pretend to be the Pink and Yellow Quark Rangers, covering the grey stripes on their uniform with colored duct tape her brother had sent her. When Jack joined the team, Gwen took to him immediately, sketching him and acting awkward in his presence. The possible crush turned into a definite crush when Tyndall took them back in time, prompting Gwen to seize Jack in a death grip of a hug.
In the following battle, Gwen attempted to combine her Gyroblade and Atom Laser into the Atomic Rifle, but the untested combination failed.
Personality[]
Gwen is careless and rather goofy in general. Her teammates consider her somewhat bipolar due to her dramatic mood swings, and her cheesy jokes tend to make Andrew bicker with her. Despite this, she loves to paint and draw, which is how she typically relaxes.

Appearance[]
Gwen is a twenty-year-old Caucasian woman, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a scar across one cheek at the beginning of the story, part of the punishment for her first escape attempt, and it is unknown whether it has faded or healed.
