August "Gus" Fischer is Rail Rider 4 Green, the Green Ranger of the Rail Riders Rangers and a main protagonist of Power Rangers Rail Riders.

Personality[]
A quiet drifter who has no real reason to be on the team. He has only stayed because he has nothing else to do. Justice; friendship, heroism, he has no interest in any of it. The only thing that keeps him motivated is that one of the foot soldiers accidently shoved him down the day he became a Ranger. He now holds a personal vendetta against that specific one. The only problem, they all look identical.

Rail Rider 4 Green is the Green Ranger's default form, accessed by inserting the Green Car into his morpher. In this form, the Green Ranger uses the Tunnel Axe as his weapon.

- Gus was originally going to be played by Paul Malone and named Roy, but the role was recast for unknown reasons.

- Gus was initially supposed to be the Pink Ranger, then Yellow before swapping with Faye and Charlie.
- If Gus had kept the Pink Rail Car, it would have made him the very first male Pink Ranger. Interestingly, in his first fight he became the Pink Ranger via a transfer with Faye.
- Gus is not interested in becoming a Ranger or even saving the world. He stays on the team only to find a particular unknown person.
- Davis, Gus' actor, is a fan of Super Sentai and especially Kamen Rider, with Kamen Rider Black being his favorite.
- Zack has expressed interest in returning as a mentor in a future season.
