Griffin grew up the Majestic City of Mystical Dimension. He grew up being inspire by dragon fighters, the military force their dimension, especially their looks. He wanted to be member of dragon fighters to be a apart of, partially he was attracted to them. His caused him to become martial artist in his own wing.
At the of age 14, he became adoptive older brother of Evie, a young Sphinx girl.
At age of 18 his joined the military of the Griffin becomes a skilled warrior in a year due his years disciplined.

After that the king's daughter, Princess Delphini showed up and wanted to join, but Griffin didn't want her to. Wanting to prove herself, she challenges him to a fight. He found himself nearly beaten by the Princess. With her proving her worth to her father, he allowed her to be the team. Getting her white ranger power. Which annoyed Griffin. Not wanting to "babysit" the princess.

In 2012, He was still working as a royal guard to his teammate, Delphini. But then Griffin rushed into duties alongside fellow veterans rangers Captain Skyla, Rect Thompson, and Jericho Wilson, and Kendra Ford went to save the Super Megaforce rangers from Levira and her mech.
Afterward he helped an injured Jake Holling into the command center. There he and other veterans unlocked their gift powers with him giving Jake Dragon Force's. He'd acknowledges Jake's grown into a strong young warrior.

Griffin is serious, no-nonsense, battle harden better of team. Due to wanting to soldier as a young age, Griffin is highly committed to training and profession. He isn't interested in the more laid back members. He was unwilling to the Princess Delphini, believing her royal status made her liability. But his insulted when she showed she capable fighter.
He is shown a serectly in interested on confident men, no matter what their personality, like the more carefree Drake. He is shown to be older brother is his little Evie. He was able developed a friendship with the Princess to her battle hearted personality, even being jealous seeing her a better warrior than he is.
When he fails mission badly, he was willing put himself extensive until he was can't have energy to anything. He even does during fights. He's also unwilling to let his teammate help him with fatigue. But eventually he had let his teammate Phoenix in.
He also is afraid his admit to part his desire to be soldier is to be around the dashing other soldiers. But after his sister revealed her trans identity, he connected are much more meaningful way.
