Design[]
Gavin's civilian outfit uses the black outfit of King/Daigo Kiryu from Kyoryuger vs GoBusters. And the Ranger Suit is the T-Rex Super Charge (Kyoryu Red Carnival) outfit except the chest and shoulder armor is replaced with the King-Ohgers armor (more specifically, the Kuwagata Ohger armor with the Gabutir emblem).
Etymology[]
The name Gavin is the modern name of Gawain, a knight of the Round Table.

- Gavin, like Sam/SPD Omega Ranger, is also a visitor from the future with the goal of helping the Rangers.
- Initially, they wanted to give the role of the second Dino Charge Red Ranger to Zach - a descendant of Ivan, but they changed their minds in favor of Tyler and Shelby's son.
- Its temporary name was T-Rex Paladin, but they decided to call it Dino Charge Red Ranger II.
