Mika is a young woman from Russia.
When word of the Astro Voyagers came out globally, some international space programs made their own versions of the Astro Voyage program. Mika was chosen by her home country to be part of the program as the Orange Astro Voyager.

- She is similar to Battle Cossack in Battle Fever J, as they're both Orange Rangers whose design is in reference to Russia. The only difference is that both Battle Cossacks were Japanese while the Orange Astro Voyager is Russian.
- The idea of the Orange Astro Voyager's Companyabot being based on a gorilla (as well as her in Combat Form) is probably in reference to a Russian-related conspiracy, in which Josef Stalin, leader of the Soviet Union, attempted to create super soldiers by merging human DNA with ape DNA.
