Exolar is the Beetle Vanguard of the Beast Vanguards.
Biography[]
Exolar, a scarab-like Beastron with heavy armor plating and a mysterious, wise demeanor from early lab experiments, serves as both Joe's combat partner and a strategic Ranger, providing formidable defense and machine-like tactics in battle.
Beetle Vanguard[]
Exolar
Exolar is a humanoid cyborg capable of defense and combat. Underneath his outer shell is the humanoid form of Beetle Vanguard. His armor becomes the Scarab Vanguard suit for Joe, if they transform together. If Joe is the only one that is transforming, Exolar is able to send duplicates of the golden parts to trigger Scarab Vanguard's transformation. Similarly, if Exolar is the only one transforming, the excess parts are cast off of his body, and seem to vanish.

Beetle Vanguard
Beetle Vanguard is the Vanguard persona for "Exolar". He achieves this form when he casts off his golden parts, retaining his arm braces and shoulder pads, which become more streamlined and change to a metallic blue. Once the Vanguard suit is revealed, his head is revealed as a hollow Vanguard helmet, which is "sealed" by the visor during the transformation.
