Eric Daik is a a gothic teenager, who, after being kidnapped by Negasin, becomes the Dark Legendary Ranger, being hypnotized into combatting against the Legendary Rangers. He was eventually freed, and even joined the team, later becoming Zeke's stepbrother and growing close with him.
He later appears as a major ally in Power Rangers Japan Warriors, where he is temporarily turned evil again as Erikai.

Dark Legendary Ranger

Much like the White Legendary Ranger, the Dark Ranger excels in gun-play and hand-to-hand combat and can keep up with the latter. Unlike the White Legendary Ranger however, he is much more liberal with Ranger Gear usage, and will not refrain from using several in quick succession to overwhelm his enemies with greater numbers both on a human-sized level and a Megazord level.

- Teleportation: Eric was able to teleport at will.
- Plug Mech Summoning: Eric could summon a Plug Mech at will.
- Strength: Eric is able to overwhelm Zeke in his Ranger form with his bare hands and knock him flat with one hit to the face.
- Durability: Eric as the Dark Legendary Ranger had an explosion occur immediately behind him but was unhurt and jumping down from a considerable height did no harm.
Attacks[]
- Rapid Blast: The Dark Legendary Ranger can fire a barrage of yellow bullets from the tip of the Dark Gattler.
- Evil Ranger Creation: The Dark Legendary Ranger can insert a Dark Ranger Gear into the Dark Gattler to fire it and create a team of evil Power Rangers to fight the Legendary Rangers.
- Evil Megazord Summoning: The Dark Legendary Ranger can insert a Dark Ranger Gear into the Dark Gattler and fire it to generate a massive purple wave in the city. From it emerges massive stone pillars from which past Megazords emerge. Eric is able to summon as many Megazords as he wants, but often limits himself to just a few, only summoning massive armies of Megazords as a last resort.
- Legendary Dark Final Blast: Eric's signature attack and finisher as the Dark Legendary Ranger. After initiating the finisher of his Dark Gattler, Eric fires a blast that bursts into a large explosion on impact.

- Gun Proficiency: Eric is a master with his Dark Gattler, exceeding the main Legendary Rangers and matching Orion.
- Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Eric was able to fight and defeat all five Legendary Rangers with his bare hands.
- Agility: Eric is capable of leaping over long distances with just a thrust from his hand.
- Tennis Proficiency: While starting off rather poorly, Eric is very proficient in tennis and could even defeat Mega Tennis-zoid in a tennis battle.

After destroying Robo-Erik, Eric was able to acquire his powers, which he uses to replace his original powers. His upgraded form is equipped with various additional pieces of arsenal through N-Gin's modifications, which vastly improve and augment his combat abilities.

- Shield: A red shield that acts as one of his primary weapons. Eric can even toss the shield as a ranged attack, with it returning to his hand quickly.
- Missile Wrist: A wrist-mounted rocket launcher on the Dark Legendary Ranger's right arm. It could hold up to 6 rockets at a time for simultaneous fire, and after detonation more missiles are quickly prepared for launch. To fire, the Dark Legendary Ranger is required to unequip his shield. If the missiles do not detonate or are dismantled mid flight, they do not regenerate.
- Dark Cannon: A cannon deployed from the gear symbol on the Dark Legendary Ranger's chest that could charge and fire powerful blasts of energy when in use.

The Jungle Dark Legendary Ranger is Eric's power-up form, using the power of the Special Gear.
In this form, Eric gains abilities based off of the Jungle Fury Rangers, which translates with him using martial arts and a fighting style based on them.
