Empress Quita is the main antagonist of the Star Force Rangers, sister of Queen Ellikacha and Zachariah, wife of Lord Veckrann and mother of Crestacia and Neckra.
Character History[]
Quita was originally a member of the royal family of Mayisha 2,000 years ago. What happened exactly is not yet known, but she became sympathetic to the oppressed undead, and decided to join their rebellion, even having one of them murder the rest of her family. However, her sister managed to seal the army away before they could finish the job, and Quita was trapped along with them, transformed into a gravestone and trapped in a Dark Graveyard outside the solar system.
In 2007, Quita, her daughters, Haxlax and Gevlant were revived. In order to gain enough energy to restore Lord Veckrann, the Empress ordered her followers to attack and destroy the nearby planet of Earth. Discovering the Rangers active there didn't particularly phase her; in fact, she started laughing manically.
Later, however, she realized that her sister had to have survived, and decided to lure the Rangers into a trap using her. She kept sending monsters, growing slowly more frustrated with her repeated failures and bothered by the presence of Zachariah, the younger brother she'd thought long dead.
After Neckra's gloating cost her a victory, Quinta yelled at her and had her scrub every gravestone in the yard as punishment. She also took the credit for Haxlax's idea, sending Zelter the Great to attack the Rangers. His destruction made her despondent, but at a comment from Haxlax, she smiled wickedly and ordered him to reincarnate Garish. When that monster fell as well, Quita chose not to have him grow, in order to let the Rangers think they'd won.
Personality[]
Quita is immature and sometimes flippant, but has a calculating streak. In the beginning she was generally calm, though building frustration has made her more liable to lash out at her subordinates. Like most villains, she tends to blame everyone but herself for failures.
Talents and Abilities[]
Aside from commanding an army of zombies and other undead creatures, Quita can make monsters grow with an incantation.
